I ran. I ran as far away as I could, bringing the body. Luckily no-one was around to see me dragging the dead body around. I ran into the forest called The Red Forest. People said it was named that because it was full of murder, so everyone stayed away from it, but I found it pretty. I loved the smell of blood and color. It helped my relax. Also, I knew if I dragged the body into the forest, the blood wouldn't show that much. I checked if she was bleeding heavily and making a trail, but her bleeding stopped.
After checking for the blood, I sighed. It was hard to work, killing someone. But weirdly I felt refreshed and soothed. There's definitely something wrong with me, but I didn't care at this point. I can't return to my normal life after killing someone. I hope I can, though. I covered the body with a few leaves and some dirt. I didn't care to put flowers or rocks around it. I stood up and looked around. It was beautiful. The red, swaying leaves blocked out the sunlight, but the sun seeped through the leaves and the air looked red. I sniffed the air, expecting the smell of fresh air and nature, but instead I smelled blood. No trace of anything else but still, I found it beautiful and sucked in as much air that my lungs could hold. The salty, heavy air lingered on my clothes. I walked away from the body and smiled. My new life has arrived, and it felt nice actually. I walked straight, dodging the leaves and branches. I looked down, seeing a ripe red flower. It was so alluring, I decided to put it in my hair. Even the flower smelled of blood. I continued walking until I reached a cliff. I sat on the edge of it. The dirt had a hint of ruby color. I closed my eyes and wondered. Why was this forest red? Why did it smell of blood? I stood up, feeling a presence behind me. I decided to put my thoughts aside for now. I got my knife ready and looked around me.
I stopped my movements. I knew something was coming towards me so I stepped forwards, away from the sound. But I was too late. Something came at me. For one second I thought someone had grabbed me, but the next second I knew it was a net. I was glad I had fast reactions. I had dodged it, and it had only got my foot. I took it off and threw it off the cliff. I knew something else was coming, because a net wouldn't just throw itself. Without thinking, I jumped off the cliff. My eyes widened. Branches tore at my skin from every angle, and my earlier wounds cut open once more. I close my eyes as hard as I could, waiting for the fall to be over. I opened my eyes again and looked down. I was still falling. I didn't realize I had been so high up. The ground came closer each second, and my body turned around because of gravity. I looked up and saw someone looking at me from the cliff. They dropped a stone. Fortunately my weight was heavier so I can reach the ground earlier, but when I land it might hit me. I can tell I only had a few seconds left. Would I die? Then I remembered that I still had my knife. I took it out. It wouldn't do much help, but I wouldn't risk a huge fall to my death. I pointed my knife towards the wall of the cliff. When I got close enough, I stabbed my knife into the dirt and kept my hand there as tight as I could. My hand hurt so much, but it was working and I kept it there. It slowed my fall. Then I felt a huge pain on my butt. I had fallen, but I made it. I was so sore, my hands and arms and body and legs were aching. Almost every part my body was bleeding. Yet I felt danger, and I knew I needed to move before the rock fell on me. I dragged my body to the right with my arms. I looked up just in time to see the rock slam itself into my foot. "AAAGGGHHHHAADH" I heard a scream and immediately knew it was my own. Pain spread through my body like wild fire. My foot was broken and blood poured out of it. I whimpered and grabbed a ton of leaves to cover my foot. 10 minutes passed, and finally my blood had stopped. I had lost a lot of blood and felt dizzy. I had to get home. Again, I dragged my body and winced when I felt the pain all over again. Every time I tried to move, my body would get tense and I would feel a massive amount of pain. So I just lay there for hours, until everything around me got dark and I can just faintly see around myself.
I layed there for hours, seeing the sun pass and the moonlight shine. The dark sky never seemed so beautiful. I stared into the glamorous stars shinning above me and slowly closed my eyes.
I woke up with the thirst for water. I remembered that there was a lake near by so I dragged my sour body to the lake. The pain had gone, but my body was still sour. When I reached the lake, I stopped and was startled of the beauty. The moonlight shined on the lake and the red trees surrounded the lake. You could see the reflection perfectly against the water. I smiled wildly. I began to drink water and wash my face. I saw my reflection in the water. The blood had washed off, and my bruises were gone. I looked good as new, and I was surprised to see that the flower was still in my hair after the drop. I washed the rest of my body and stretched. I didn't know where I was, but I had to go somewhere. Slowly I got up and hung on to some branches to keep my balance. I continued to walk that way for hours past, and I had gotten to a familiar road. I dragged my body through the road and finally could see the dorms again. I sighed in relief.
When I get closer to it, I saw police cars all around the girls dorm. Someone saw the blood and reported the police. I was no-longer covered with blood, but I was scared. I shivered but my legs stated to run. Pain rushed throughout my body but I started to run once again.
