Before my baby was born.
I sat up in class, it was my sophomore year, and I didn't really fuck with anyone at school. Niggas always called me a loner, but it wasn't even like that, I just didn't fuck with fake niggas, and two faced bitches.
I sat in the back, away from everyone, when this fine, and when I tell you fine, I mean I hadn't really seen to many girls like her.
She was thick, and chocolate. Her lips looked good enough to eat, her hair was in braids, and she had these beautiful hazel eyes.
Her name was Kaylen, and she equaled trouble. Or at least I didn't know that at the time. She came and sat next to me, and on god she smelled like strawberries and oranges.
At first she ignored a brothers presence, like I know I was stalking her with my stare but still, shawty needed to at least talk to me.
When she finally looked up, she glared at me. "What the fuck you want?" she asked, I held my hands up in defense.
"Why you getting all rude girl? All I wanted to know was your name." I said.
She stared at me for some time. "Kaylen." she said.
"James." I said.
We started talking, and talking. As time went on, we decided we wanted to be together. I then understood what my momma ment when she said don't be with them fast ass girls.
Kaylen, and I went a little to far. A make out session went from tongue kisses, to clothes fallen on the floor.
I didn't really care at the time, I fell hard. I learned the hard way that you needed protection.
A month or two later, she found out she was pregnant, I swear to you my heart stopped. I always dreamt of being a father, but not right now.
She was mad when I didn't say anything. "So you one of them niggas huh?" she asked, I just stared at her. "Fine if you ain't gonna take this like a man, then I don't need you!" she yelled. She went to walk off, but I wouldn't let her.
"Bea, it's not even like that, I'm happy I really am. Please don't cry, just don't. You know I don't like it when you cry." I said, looking her on her eyes.
She nodded, and hugged me. "We gonna get through this together ok ma?" I asked, looking at her. She nodded.
Little did I know she was gonna break my heart.
