Christine sat in choir class smiling. She couldn't stop thinking about the other night with Erik. Who knew he was so interesting? She was so wrapped up in her thoughts that she didn't notice when Raoul came and sat down next to her.

"Hey Chrissy." Raoul nudged her shoulder.

"Hm? Oh hi Raoul!" Christine blushed.

Raoul caught her eyes and the corners of his lips tugged up. "Excited for Madama Butterfly tomorrow night?"

Christine nodded vigorously. "Oh yes, I've heard it's one of the best operas to see."

"It'll be even better with you." Raoul comments, eyes twinkling.

A furious blush overcame Christine and she looked down, an embarrassed smile working its way on her lips.

Raoul grinned as Ms. Lillian began passing out music sheets to the students.

Christine raised an eyebrow as she examined the sheet. "Venga Nel Nostro Coro?"

"Sounds interesting." Raoul said.

Ms. Lillian stood in front of the class and cleared her throat.

"Alright, settle down class. This piece is one I'm quite excited to share with you!" She said, shoving her glasses up higher on her nose. "The title is Italian and translates to come to our choir. I'd thought it'd be perfect for our upcoming concert."

Christine smiled gleefully. "Italian! It'll sound so beautiful!"

"Language of love." Raoul smirked, glancing at Christine.

"Oh Raoul...stop thinking of romance for five seconds!" Christine said, hitting him with her music.

"Ow!"

"Get over it."

"Ah ah ah!" Ms. Lillian interjected. "Pay attention you two!"

Within a few minutes, Ms. Lillian had separated the class into their groups to start processing the song.

Christine caught Raoul's eye, smiled and returned to her singing.

She enjoyed the song immensely and found it to be a breathtaking piece. Once class was over, she swung her bag over her shoulder and started heading to her next class.

"Christine wait up!" Raoul jogged over to her. "I'll walk you to your next class."

"Thanks Raoul, but you don't have to do that."

"But I want to."

He gingerly placed an arm around her and the pair walked through the campus together.

That night, Christine sat texting Raoul. He had asked for her number when they were walking and naturally, she had given it to him.

Ready for tomorrow night Chrissy?

You bet! I love operas

Same, have you seen La Carlotta?

No, is it good?

the lead singer was awful but the story was good

Aw I'm sorry about that

It's all good, it was actually quite hysterical watching her

:) Raoul, I've gotta do this psychology homework but I'll see you tomorrow?

For sure, good luck!

Christine put her phone down and felt her heart flutter. Oh Raoul... He was the perfect gentleman.

Erik's POV

I grinned as I looked at Christine's gift so far. She was gonna love it. At least, I hoped she would. But this isn't all she's gonna get. I rose from my seat and crossed over to the window and looked out at the moon. Funnily enough, it was to be a full moon on her birthday. They say strange things happen on the night of the full moon...

Authors note: Please rate & review! Ok I've noticed that when writing Russian Spies and Schoolgirls, I totally screwed up and started writing in more of a third-person instead of first person Christine! I'm so sorry about this, I can try to fix it (I'd probably just switch it all to just third person because that's my writing style to begin with) but it would take a while. So for now, please bear with me. Once again, thank you all for reading! I'm not sure if I really liked this chapter but what is done is done. I wanted to build up some chemistry between Christine and Raoul to make things interesting. So, for now, I bid you adieu my friends <3

DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT own Phantom of the Opera/any of the characters (except the ones I have created such as Ms. Lillian) or the song "Venga Nel Nostro Coro". The song is a wonderful piece by Antonio Salieri and arranged by Jill Gallina.
