Did you ever really love me?

Chapter 4

Today was the day I went back to school and honestly I hated it.

I woke up to the sound of the most annoying thing in the world,my alarm clock. As I was brushing my teeth Matthew climbed through my window with a whole cake and candles along with balloons. I screamed at the top of my lungs I was terrified.Seconds later My brother came in through the door with a bat and my mom was still half asleep while walking inside my room. Until she noticed a tall figure standing by my window. Before even asking who Matthew was to me or Nash she threatened to call the cops and have Nash beat him. I rinsed my mouth and told them everything was fine ,and if they could leave now. My mom looked worried and gave me the we'll talk later look. I nodded and mom took Nash with her.Then I turned to Matt with a what the hell expression on my face. He just looked at me like I was born yesterday. I asked him what he was doing. Then he responded with: HaPPy BiRtHdAy!! I was so confused I was pretty sure my birthday wasn't for like 3 months.
J:"My birth date is on January 3rd?"
M: they told me it was today?
Who told you? A fit of laughter already beginning to form in my throat.
M:Christian... That son of a bitc--
J: You did  this for me? Thats so sweet you just made my day.
I couldn't contain it any longer so I started laughing so hard I couldn't breathe.
J:Matthew you actually believed Christian The one and only school trickster. How in the (breathes likes theirs no tomorrow) hell did you fall for that.
Matt: He said you really liked being surprised  and you would find it really sweet.
J-Actually surprises scare the shiz out of me and I'm really impatient, and caught off guard is not something I want to look like.

Matt: oh. now I know, but I feel like this cake shouldn't go to waste like some Starbucks and other things...
And before I know it cake is pushed in my face without a warning label and high pitched laughing is heard. I was so mad at Matt I went to the bathroom and slammed the door I wanted to make Matt think I was mad ( I know childish but he deserves it) so I could get revenge. In all honesty I looked at myself and it was hilarious, there was cake in my nose, hair and clothes. The laughing stopped and immediately Matt rushed to the door.
Matt: Jenny I'm so sorry I just had to theres no way we could've eaten the cake that fast and I didn't want it going to waste.
Jenny: seriously Matt its every where its in my hair now I have to shower which will make US even more late than just eating the cake and really you just said you didnt want the cake to go to waste but its going down the drain and ... Whamm I opened the door so fast and tackled him onto the floor and smeared frosting all over his face and hair. Then for the grand finale I took a picture. He realized what had happened and I ran into the bathroom so I wouldn't get tickled. Matt was pounding on the door so my mom started yelling from downstairs. I decided to take a really quick shower because I had cake everywhere. Once I was done in like ten minutes I realized I had no clothes... Or my phone ...just a towel. I stopped and listened for any signs of life in my room. I guess Matt went to go take his own shower at home or change or what ever so I poked my head through the door and went to go open my closet and MATTHEW LEE jumped at me from the closet. My adrenaline kicked in and I mean literally kicked in and next thing I know my foot is flying towards his legs (in between). He groans in pain and falls to the floor I start running downstairs and realize what I've just done I'm running back upstairs to apologize and he's still on the floor. I neil to the floor and try to say sorry he says its fine and gets up slowly to sit on my bed. My room is currently a mess I still have to change into clothes for school and its 7:50AM I start rushing and tell Matt to go ask my brother for some clothes and to shower its no big deal. Looking pretty scared went out to find my brother. I used my time wisely and changed into some black skinny jeans flats a black crop top and a floral kimono. I put my hair in a bun got a some earrings and went to go look for Matthew he had my brothers clothes on which was some vans muscle tee and some jeans he looked nice but we had to go! My brother realized we were already late.  we got in his car and Nash said well might as well be super late and eat, then late and not fed. Nash was the one driving and with Matt in agreement I had no other choice but to go. But hey i wasn't complaining free breakfast and no Mr.Caramicheal. We went to IHop and ordered breakfast which was really good afterwards my brother dropped us off at school we thanked him  and went inside. We were inside when Teo and his friend were coming our way probably skipping class as usual. Teo was such a nice guy silly,cute and smart now his grades are so low he got kicked off the lacrosse team and he has sex with ten girls a week. Mostly the cheer squad and some of the pom team. Matthew has been angry at him since the cheating happened but Im not as mad anymore I really don't care Im just going to try to hide my feelings since I have Matthew but honestly we've known each other for years I cant just get over him that quickly. Avoiding him seems like the best plan so far. Once I was at Walmart with my brother to buy some stuff  for our annual Netflix day and I  saw Teo we  made eye contact and I turned the other way but I was walking through desserts section and he begged me to talk or at least look at him I wouldnt budge so he trapped me against the wall and told me some thing like insides jokes we had and memories and how sad he was without me  I almost gave in to him when he was crying but my brother thankfully saved me. Saved is a lie he basically told Teo that I was dating Matt when we weren't so that made him mad and it was akward so i just said welp looks like we have to go bye Teo. We made it to class with stares from everyone since we were like thirty minutes late I couldn't blame them curiosity gets the best of you sometimes. All day I thought of Matthew and Teo what if I actually had to choose one day. If Teo "loved"  me so much why would he cheat but their could also be an explanation.
