Prologue
Run...Run...Run...
Those were the words that kept replaying in my head for the fear of being caught and experimented on. I had already escaped once with the help of a friend, but now that friend is gone; that was the price for helping me. I told him to let me be and that I could do it on my own, but he would not listen, said he was meant to do this. I never understood; however, I was still grateful to him. Now I do not need to waste his affords.
My breathing stopped as I heard footfalls to my right, coming closer by the minute. I looked around for any means of escape; all I saw were cliffs that led to the ocean. I was never good at swimming, but it was either swim or be brought back to hell and I sure was not going back there. I needed to get home, to my family, to my sister.
I sprung around at full speed, hoping to get to the edge, but then two hands grabbed my shoulders spinning me around. That's when I met two crimson eyes, piercing into my own. That's when I met my end.
