Chapter 15: You are my light

"What is this place?" I ask Sean.

"It's called the Lamb's rock" he replied. Well, no shit sherlock. That's what's written on the board.

"I know that you dumbo, but what's special about it?" I ask in my sleepy daze. The sun had not even risen yet and this guy dragged me to this place along with my friends. I am in no mood to explore but how can I resist my immensely hot boyfriend and his loving smile. So I had no choice but to follow him wherever he went. And I  think that this is the fifth surprise he's given me in a week. This guy is obviously crazy, crazy enough to love someone like me, crazy enough to care for someone like me, crazy enough to worry about someone like me, just crazy.

"Just wait for a few more minutes and you'll see." He says as he spreads down a blanket on the rocky slopes and I turn around to find my friends do the same too. I knew they were all in it together and were covering for him so I knew I couldn't get much information about the surprise.

We leaned back and Sean pulled me into his arms. I was now practically lying on his chest and his arms were bound round my waist.

I sigh and close my eyes, the feeling just too good and in itself was a great gift to me. Lying in his arms, engulfed in his scent, with him as my pillar of strength I could fight anything in this world, even death.

"Sweetie open your eyes" Sean whispers in my ears  as he slightly shifts me to the side. I open my eyes and the most beautiful spectacle overwhelms my sight.

The sun was rising, just between the two crests of the hills opposite the slope we were on, where a river had found its origin and was roar with life.

In short, it was beautiful.

"Angel, I know it's in your bucket list that you want to kiss me during the sunset, but I just want you to know that  since you came into my life, the sun has risen in my life. I vowed I would never fall in love, but somehow you found a way to break my walls through your innocence and your fears. Honestly Leona, you hid yourself because you thought you weren't worth it, you thought you were broken, damaged, you lived your fears, your nightmares again and again, but you were my light, your fears became my threshold, your nightmares were mine to chase away, your weaknesses were my sole house of power. You drive me further unexpectedly in the hopes of making me fly without even realising it. I know I've done this before and it wasn't really that great but..." He pauses and pulls out the same black box he'd held in his hand yesterday. "Will you spend the rest of your days with me? It maybe a few days, a few months, a few years, a lifetime or even a few minutes but every second with you is equal an eternity Leo. I love you, you're beautiful and I will take every opportunity to remind you of it. Marry me Leo"

My face was covered with my tears by the time he finished and I was glowing with happiness. I truly felt happy and my chest swelled up in the great joy I was feeling. I hug him tight and cry my heart out, for I never imagined that someone would love me so much. I've never known love for I never experienced it in my family or friends. But with him, that's a whole new story. I love him.

I love Sean Kinston.

"I- I.... Of course, I'll marry you! It's yes a million times"

With that he closed the distance between us and his lips moulded onto mine. This wasn't rushed or erotic, it was slow, passionate, loving and beautiful. It expressed love, just pure love and I deem myself blessed to experience this feeling.

We broke apart and I heard the aww's behind us and realized our friends were still standing behind us.

We stood up together and Cass literally jumped on me. I stumbled back a few steps and I could sense Sean's caution, but I knew Cass wouldn't harm me cause she knew of my condition and is just as concerned as Sean.

"OMG!!! You're getting married!" She jumped up and down and I just hugged her back.

"Ok that's enough Cass" Sean says from behind.

"Oh shut up, Lee is my friend too." She says pushing him a bit. "And trust me I'm straight and I have no intention to steal her from you"

At that everyone burst out laughing and Sean just shook his head.

"Ok come on guys let's go I'm hungry" John whines.

"Yeah Yeah, let's go."

We travelled back from Lamb's rock to a restaurant in the main Hill station.

We were waiting for our meal, talking and just chatting away. Sean subtly gestures to get away from the group and go out the back. Ugh, this guy! How do I get away?

"Um... Cass I'll just go to the bathroom ok"

"Ok!" She replies with an unknowing smile. Little did she know for what I was slipping away.

I first make my way to the bathroom, just to show that I was going there but at the last minute I turn to the side going out the back door.

I go out and see that it's raining. The back had a whole corridor running behind with reserved tables and I searched for Sean.

"Got you!" I almost scream as I feel a pair of hands wrap around me, but once I hear his voice I know it's Sean.

"Sean, you really should stop scaring me like that..." I say as I turn around to face him.

"Well my dear fiancé you know how much I like surprising you..." He says leaning in and kissing my neck.

"Sean, stop." I giggle when he continues to kiss my neck tickling me.

"Sean... " I say in a sing song way, slightly pushing his chest.

"What? I'm not allowed to kiss my fiancé too?" He chuckles and nuzzles his nose along mine.

"Why did you call me here? They must be waiting for us" I demand.

"Yeah, about that, you forgot your ring..." He smiles and produces the box again.

He opens the box and is really the most beautiful ring I've seen (pic on the side). The intricate design and delicate stones make it look so cute.

"Thank you so much Sean, but you know I wouldn't have minded if you didn't-"

"Leo, you're my angel. And you know my angel-"

"Always deserves the best... I know" I cut him off.

"Exactly." And he kisses me.

"Oh God, break apart for a minute at least man."

We turned around to see Cass and Sean's other friend Brian standing right behind us.

"Now I know why you sneaked off..." Cass gives me a sly smile and I blush. Thank God for my dark complexion it's unnoticeable.

"Sean I'm sorry to bring in business now but your brother called and said that Mr Dane is-" Brian says.

"One second" Sean cuts him off and turns to me, "Leo go in eat ok, in today's excitement I don't want you skipping meals yeah..."

"Ok..."

"Cass take her in" he says and turns back to Brian.

I don't know why but I feel something is wrong. The way Sean's face contorted in irritation when Brian mentioned Mr Dane was something I didn't miss. Now I need to find out who this Mr Dane is.

With these thoughts I turn back to see Sean, just as Cass escorts me back into the restaurant.
