Chapter Five - The Truth

When Bethany woke up, she noticed Aubrey gone, she wasn't in her bed. When Bethany left the room, she heard someone vomiting, so she rushed to see who it was, and it was Aubrey.

"What's wrong? Are you OK?"Bethany asked.

Aubrey was vomiting blood instead of food.*this looks familiar...could it be...*thought Bethany.

"I don't feel..."Aubrey collapsed.

"MOM, MOM!" yelled Bethany.

"What's wrong" She stopped.

"Mom...?"Bethany looked at her face trying to find out what was she thinking.

"We have to take her to the hospital now!"They both rushed and got Aubrey in the car.

When they got to the hospital they-Bethany and Mrs. Nell-had to wait some minutes.

The doctor came out of the room.

"What's wrong with her? Would she be OK?" Asked Bethany really worried.

"She has...cancer, I'm sorry but I don't think she'll make it." the doctor said.

"What!?"Bethany stared to cry.

"I'm so sorry but she has only 5 days left. You can still hang out with her, but she has to be in the hospital." the doctor said.

"Can I see here now?" asked Bethany.

"Yes."

Bethany left to see Aubrey

Aubrey was laying down, but awake.

"How're you feeling?" Bethany asked.

"Painful."she answer

"Don't worry it will do away*hope*"said Bethany.

"No I meant that, the doctors said to me that they think I won't make it, that I would...die in five days. I..."Bethany stopped her.

"Don't talk you're..."Bethany stopped talking.

"I'm sorry I didn't told you before, but I just felt that it was a fever, so."Aubrey expect Bethany to understand.

"I'll be right back." Bethany left.

"Why cancer, why did I have to be so, so stupid on not telling anyone, what did I do wrong, what?" Aubrey stared to cry.

To Bethany.

"Looks who's here, and crying" that was Rachel.- Rachel's grandmother has been in the hospital ever since she was little.(sorry to bring here all of a sudden)

"I'm not in the mood, Rachel." responded Bethany.

"What's wrong, you're mommy died too?"

"SHUT UP YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M SUFFERING RIGHT NOW!" yelled Bethany.

"Oh what's wrong." Rachel was pretending to care.

"MY FRIEND HAS CANCER AND ITS TOO LATE FOR HER, THERE HAPPY NOW!" yelled Bethany again.

"Who?" she asked.

"Aubrey..." said Bethany.

"Her!?"Rachel was surprised."I'm so sorry for ya, Betty!"

"You little!" Bethany punched her. "how would you feel like if you're friend is in the hospital knowing that he or she won't make it!?" asked madly at Rachel.

"I would, never mind, see ya around."she left.

Bethany went back to see Aubrey.

"Are you feeling better?"asked Bethany when she came in.

"No, not at all." that's what she said.

"Look I know how you feel and I really wish this didn't happened, but this is life, and one day we'll die that's for sure, but-"Bethany stopped.

"I know what you mean, to move on, I get it, but how can I move on like this?" Aubrey interrupted.

"No not at all I just... I wanted to say that even if you die we'll always be together."she said

"It didn't sound like you were." Aubrey said.

"Well you didn't let me finished!"she said.

"She needs to rest, so you need to leave I'm sorry." the doctor came.

"Well bye,see ya"Bethany left.
