They both looked at each other then the girl wid the 2 braids lookin like Rayan spoke to me. " I knoe u don't knoe us but I'm Essence I'm u and Rays daughter and thks is my half brother Jacob Jr (JJ). He's u and Prince's son." I was baffled. " So where am I? " She looked at JJ who ran his fingers through his fro and spoke up. " Well mom u see ur sorta a drifrin soul. U been asleep for 3 weeks now and our dads and grandparents been a mess wivout u. Look there's dad." He pointed to the hospital. There I saw a pale version of me hooked up to many machines and Prince sittin there cryin.
" Hey babe. Please cime back to us. These few weeks have been a mess. Ur pops been stayin late and stressin ur moms, Mel and Sab won't stop cryin no matter what we do. Hakeem ain't left his room since they told us u was in a coma. Prod tryna be positive but deep down we all knoe he dyin coz u like a lil sissy. Jarrel be askin where u is and he only 3 so he won't understand but he cries too coz he miss u. Ray, well Ray's goin mad baby he's convinced himself this is his fault and he hates himself. He need u and what I think daddy's tryna say is that u should choose Rayan." I looked at JJ and cried. " U smart just like yo daddy. " he wiped my tears and kissed my cheek. " I love u mommy and even if I'm not physically there I will always be there." Then he hugged Essence kissed her forehead and faded away. Essence soon spoke. " Mommy I gotta send u back now but I love u and I hope u and daddy make up and make me before aunty Mel or aunty Sab makes any kiddies. " I laughed. " girl whatchu know bout makin kids?" She chuckled. "More than u think." She winked at me mouthed the words 'I love u' the blew something in ma face then for the last time I hope, I blacked out!
[Ray's POV ]
So I've been a bit down lately and I haven't left my room in a while. Kinda forgotten what outside looked like. But today I felt the urge to go visit Skyler. So Iput on some sweats a white t - shirt my leather jacket and some air maxes. I grabbed mh keys and left. On my way there ma phine was blowin up so I pulled ova and answered it wivout lookin at the caller ID. I put it in speakerand continued drivin.

I ended the call and pulled up to the hospital, parkin ma car and wakin to the reception. "Um I'm here to see Skyler April Alsina. " she popped her gum chewin it loudly and textin. Ratchet ass bitch! " Ayo ratchet ass bitch wid da dirty mop u call weave di u think u can tell me where tf ma girl is or naw? Fuckin hell!" She looked up popped her bubblegum once again then finally sed " she in room 179 and if u call ne ratchet again u ain't gon have ni braids. " She really pissin me off! "Bitch I don't got time for yo ass!" Then I walked off like a boss to see ma girl.

I walked in and saw her. Damn she's so pale but beatiful all the same. Tears immediately came out so I grabbed her hand and began to talk.

I started humming 'Be without you' by Mary J Blige as I began to cry a river with Skyler's hand still in mine. After about 10 minutes of doing so, I finally gave up and got up to leave. I was abkut to let go of her hand when I felt her squeeze mine. "Babe" I turned around and saw her eyes flutter open and she trued to lift herself but failed. I beamed then frowned and sed " if ur lookin for Prince he's not here." She pulled my arm and I walked toward her. "Come lay wiv me." I did as told. "I was talkin to u when I sed babe Ray." She locked her fingers in between mine and kissed my cheek. "But what about u and Prince?" She looked at me a min then spoke. " that don't matter right now call my mommy i wanna see my lil bro and the rest of da fam. I didn't hesitate coz from her tone she was gonna hurt a nigga and I'm not tryna end up in a hospital bed" yes Ma'am." And with that I called Hakeem and told him da good news.
I'm happy ma baby woke up but how's Prince gonna feel knowin she chose me? Damn everytime some good happens there's always some that ruins it.
