"Please tell me this is a joke. You can't be serious about this." I said.
"I am 100% serious." Dustin said. "I wanted it to be more, but that is all the police would allow. It better be far enough. It comes any closer then that then he will be send to jail."
"He is your best friend. You can't do this to him." I said. "Go back in there and take it back. Tell them you changed your mind. Tell them you don't want to do this. Tell them you are just an overly protective older brother who got carried away. Go tell them."
"No." Dustin said.
"Take it back." I said.
"No." Dustin said again.
"Take it back." I said again.
"No." Dustin said again.
"Take. It. Back." I said.
"No Cassie. I told you both that none of that was going to happen and I told you both to stay away from him and you didn't do it." Dustin said.
"It was only one time Dustin." I said.
"Yeah and did you even use protection?" Dustin asked. I sat there and thought back to that night with Kendall. It was more then a week ago. Did we use protection?
