My bare feet hit the pavement as I went out to get the mail. I should be expecting a letter from the university any day now. I flipped open the mailbox and grabbed all the envelopes inside. I quickly went though it all until I came across one with the university logo on it. I quickly opened it, probably giving myself a paper cut in the process. I yanked the letter out and opened the letter.
"DUSTIN! DUSTIN! DUSTIN! DUSTIN!" I shouted as I ran into the house. "DUSTIN!"
"Cassie?! What is it?!" Dustin called as he ran to me.
"I GOT THE LETTER!" I shouted.
"What does it say?!" Dustin asked.
"HERE!" I said, holding it out to Dustin. He took it from my hands and read it out loud.
"We are pleased to inform you that you have been excepted." Dustin read. "Cassie this is amazing."
"You think so?" I asked.
"I do. I'm not too happy it's in London, but I like that you're doing something for yourself." Dustin said, smiling.
