Why us? A story about hated people

Okayy people, here's finally a new chapter and I'm so sorry like omg. ITS ALL SCHOOLS FAULT OKAYY UGHH

But yeahh, here is the chapter:)

I grabbed my gun and looked for shelter to hide. Rezan was with me the whole time. Everywhere was shooting. They had found us. They had found the place that no one knew except for us. I felt safe here.

I saw a lot of people falling and blood was flying everywhere. We weren't even a real army. We were preparation. Most of us aren't even adults.

I shot as many people as I could. The first one was easy, but after a few it became harder. We had lost a lot of warriors, but our enemies had lost more. They ran away. They were defeated.

A few days later...

"GET UP LITTLE WARRIORS WE HAVE TO WORK GO GO GO!"

I woke up and everyone was running around. What the flip was going on?
Rezan ran towards me and told me that we were going to attack the enemies.

"What.. the enemies? But I'm not prepared. I just woke up!"

Rezan ignored me and grabbed my hand. While holding my hand, we ran outside to hear what he chief had to say.

"Listen little warriors. Today, in two hours, we will leave our camp to fight the enemy. We have practised enough. Everyone should prepare now and grab everything you need. That means weapons and water. We can't carry more with us. Understood?"

Everyone nodded. A young man raised his hand.

"No questions right now, you should prepare first. NOW GO GO GO!" The chief said.

Everyone was ready. Rezan held my hand.

"Whatever happens, you need to know that I love you, and I always will. If something happens, I want you to move on and make yourself happy. I am okay with everything als long as you are happy. Even when you find someone who is better than-"

"Don't say that Rezan, please. We are not going to die today. Tonight, we will come back without anything but victory, understood?" I replied.

I realised that something could actually happen. What if one of us dies? No, I had to stop thinking such things. I had to be focused on our mission. I gave Rezan a kiss on his forehead. We heard the chief's yell. This was the moment that I had practised for for months now. Now I was going to actually fight the enemy.

I was crawling on the ground. I held my gun and was looking for the enemy. I totally knew what they looked like. I tried to aim at the enemy. It was so hard. We lost a lot of our warriors. Everyone was still so young. It was just unfair. Every now and then, I carefully looked around to see if Rezan and Sarya were still alive. Sometimes I saw Rezan waving from far away. Sarya, however, was nowhere to be found.

Some hours later

"WATCH OUT, THEY ARE COMING!" Someone from our army screamed.

My heart was pounding so hard. Then I saw the enemy coming. They were with so many. How could we ever beat this?

At this point, I could only hear the shots. Then it happened. The thing happened that I was scared of for such a long time. I heard footsteps behind me. I had to be brave. And I was. I turned around and I saw the enemy. Its smile was too scary. He looked right into my eyes.

"Hello there little girl. Look how sharp this knife is. I sharpened it just for you.'

I was silent. I didn't dare to say a single word. He grabbed my head and pushed it onto the ground. This was the end. I felt the knife onto my neck, cutting in my skin. He raised his hand holding the knife, and I heard the sound of the knife cutting. But I didn't feel anything. I lay there for a long time.

A voice whispered:

"It's okay Lorin. I'm here now. It is over now. They left. We killed most of them."

I looked up and it was Rezan. There was a dead body lying next to me. Its head was cut off.

The same evening

We were all eating in silence. Even though we made them run away, we had lost quite some warriors. Luckily they didn't capture anyone. The victims just got a small funeral. That's the only thing we could do. They deserved it, justice.

We all went to our tents. I tried to sleep but I couldn't. I kept turning in my bed. Suddenly I heard someone call me.

"Lorin? Are you still awake?"

It was a warm voice. Immediately I felt comfortable. It was Rezan. I turned back around and as he saw me awake, we walked up to me. He grabbed my arm and he pulled me outside. We found a place to sit and he held his arm around my waist. As he pulled me closer he said:

"It's going to be okay, I promise. I'll kill them all with my bare hands, those monsters. Wait no, what have monsters done to us that we compare them with our enemies. Right, nothing. I'll keep it at enemies. I don't underst-"

I cupped his face in my hands. We just looked at each other. No kissing, no hugging and no holding hands. Just looking. (Writers note: duh boys and kissing is haram). As I couldn't keep my eyes open, I fell asleep.

The next day
Everyone was still silent. It made me nervous to be honest. I kept looking around to find Sarya. Where could she be? Maybe with our enem... No she couldn't. Never.

After breakfast I stood up and walked around the camp. I was sweating like I had never before. I felt dizzy. This wasn't good. Where the flip could she be. Before I knew it, I passed out.

......

I woke up in my bed. Everyone was around me. I blinked a few times as I had to get used to the brightness.

"Are you okay? What happened" Rezan asked nervously.

"I-I don-t know. Wait I do. Where is Sarya. I was looking for her. Where is she. I need to find her otherwise-"

"Shhh Lorin, it's okay. Don't worry. She went home because she was injured. She's safe now" Miran said.

I just had to believe that..

OKAY HUMANS I AM TRULY SORRY OKAY SCHOOL RUINED MY LIFE I SIMPLY HAD NO TIME SORRYY. buttttttttttttttt: next chapter will be sarya's point of view just to experiment. Comment what you think 'bout it.

Also I think that this has to be said:
I have a lot of family living in Nusaybin. Since everything is being bombed and destroyed, theh have fled to neighbouring cities or family. They have lost everything. No stuff or memories. All gone. Most of them had just rebuild their homes to have a modern one. All the money spens for nothing

I just wanted to share that, since it doesn't come across the news in europe and the USA.
