"Relax, there's no way they'll be able to stop us." I tried to calm Katie down. We were almost home now and I had to convince her that we would have a great time if she just let it go. "After the party we can go get them."Katie was still terrified. I had no way of fixing that. I just needed to get her to come along with me. I had already taken her phone away. She was going to call Jack and tell him she'd get them soon. I denied her. I understood that she was afraid he was going to be mad but she needed to let loose.
"Hannah, I don't want Jack to yell at me." She was nearly quivering as we entered the house. I grabbed her by the shoulders and looked her square in the face.
"We are going. I'm not letting him spoil your fun. Jack is gonna have to just suck it up. Now go change into your swimsuit." I turned her around and shoved her off to go change.

As we arrived at the party you could hear the music blaring. I looked over at Katie. She looked at me and took a deep breathe.
"You got this." I assured her and climbed out of the car. She joined me and we walked up to the house and straight in. It was insane. People were dancing, there were girls and boys grinding, drinks were everywhere, the music swelled in your chest. I followed the crowd and walked to the backyard where the main pool was. The whole pool was filled with people.
My head was filled with the music and suddenly I saw some of my friends so I took off to greet them.
"Hannah you made it!" Katelyn exclaimed, a drink in her hand. I knew immediately she would get drunk tonight. I was not going to drag her home. "Where's Katie?" She asked and suddenly my head was spinning. I couldn't find her. Anywhere. I knew I had placed the keys somewhere she wouldn't find them. She must have gotten lost in the crowd. She was probably even more terrified.
"I don't know. Help me find her." I told Katelyn and we split up in the crowd walking around. It took nearly an hour of frantic searching for me to find her sitting outside in a group of boys from our school. Of course, they were the type of boys who Katie would avoid.
"Hey, babe, nice of you to join us!" The most annoying of the group spoke to me as I approached. I rolled my eyes.
"In your dreams fuckboy, now give me my friend." I scoffed.
"Why should I?" He walked closer to Katie who recoiled away from him. "The parties just starting for Katie."
"I could beat your ass any second I wanted to, Trevor. Now let her go." I spat at him.
"For a price." He laced his arms around Katie's waist. "You need to stay and enjoy the party." His face was eerily close to Katie's. Her eyes begged me to help.
"Fine." I took a step closer.
"Really?" He raised his eyebrows, excitedly. "You heard her boys. She's decided to join us." He chuckled. "Have your fun." He suddenly began to drag Katie away from me. The other boys began growing closer to me and I was being surrounded. One of the boys reach out to me and I punched him in the face, hard enough that he staggered back giving me a space to flee. I ran for Trevor and Katie and when I found them he was trying his hardest. He was kissing down her neck and the look of disgust on Katie's face was too awful. As I grew nearer, she was crying. And at that moment I lost it.
I charged into action. I ran forward and ripped Trevor away from her. I spun hi towards me and threw a punch at his jaw. My fist collided with his lower jaw. He stumbled back, placing a hand on his jaw.
"Fuck you." He panted.
"Not for free." I retaliated. Suddenly he was coming at me quicker than I could react. His fist was inches away from face when he flew to the side and let out a cry of pain.
