-Hello? Anna is that you? I barely hear you. But I have the skirts you wanted right here next to me. I'm coming!
-Andrea?! I told you to send your assistant to bring them! You don't have to come.
-What?! I can't hear you! Oh gosh! I'm coming, wait for me!
I leave the company and hop in the warm black Cadillac:
-Good morning, Andrea!
-I have to let some things at Anna. We go to Conde Nast. Be quick, Maurice!
-Sure!
I take my phone and call Nana.
-Do you enjoy Paris? I hope you don't, because I'm dying here and I don't want to be jealous on you.
-Hi! I'm sorry to tell you this, but Paris is great! I'm in love.
-What now? Did you find Mr. Right there?
-Nooo! I didn't mean a guy, I mean I'm in love with the city! And that wasn't funny! What are you doing?
-I'm going to Anna. She wanted some skirts. Those from the new collection, you know, the ones you designed. I'm bored to death. I want some action, something unusual to happen today!
-Really? That's great! I'm glad she liked them. I thought she won't. I hope you'll have a nice adventurous day!
-Of course she liked them! However, I have to go. See you!
-I thought it was a great thing when we met Anna, but she's stealing you from me! Don't tell her this, just say hi! See you both tomorrow!
I ended the call quickly and got out of the car; I entered the building and went straight to the elevator; there I am, Vogue Magazine, Anna's office...
-Good morning, Anna! I have the skirts right here.
-Good morning, Andrea! I told you to send your assistant, but you didn't hear me. I think you should do something with that phone. I thought you have a meeting...
-Yeah, Anna. You know what, I'm stressed today because Brian told me that we are going to have a great customer. A celebrity, as he said, one I'm going to love and never let her go. Oh I almost forgot, Nana said hi. She'll be back tomorrow.
-Oh that's good! You can use a little bit help from your business partner. Brian didn't told you who is the mysterious celebrity? But she's a woman, right?
-Yeah, he didn't want to tell me. Yes, she is. You know, if you weren't supporting us with the company we would never have so much success. Thank you, Anna!
-That's what I like to do the most, besides my magazine. Help young, talented designers rise and shine. You don't have to thank me for that. Thank your talent!
-Oh Anna, you don't have to say that. You make me feel bad because I can't do anything for you at all. If somebody come to me and ask "How can you talk to that Ice Woman?" again, I swear I'll punch him or her right in the face!
-Don't do that! Let them say whatever they want. I don't care! And you are actually doing things for me. You do these beautiful clothes I use in my photo-shoots. -Yeah, well, this is not as important as what you've done for us.
My phone ringed and I instantly got worried and exited at the same time. I know it may be called anxiety but is just because of the stressful day.
-Oh my god! Is Brian!
-Answer!
-Hey boss! Are you there?
-Yes Brian! What's up?
-Your most important client is on her way. You should be here by NOW!
-Okay. I'm coming...
