"What is happening?"

Mia's POV

"You are going to die in there! You can't go! Rumor has it that some kids wondered in those woods about 20 years ago and were never seen again, most kids even say every Halloween you can hear their screams." Miya said pleading me not to go camping in the mystery woods, the most spookiest part of the city. It was mid October and Halloween is only around the corner. "Miya nothing you say will make me change my mind." I said finally getting bugged from all her begging. "Your not going alone then. I'm coming with you." She said sitting up. "Will you be ready in time, I'm leaving the 31st?" I asked as I stood up to go to the kitchen. "Halloween!! But that's the worst night to go." She whined following behind me. "Well at least we are not going alone." I said crunching on an Oreo. "I'm inviting two more people to go with us." I added finishing the cookie. She looked at me confused "who?" She asked. "I don't know yet but I'm letting you pick one out of the two." I said. She jumped in excitement clapping her hands. I rolled my eyes playfully and sat on the counter. "So who are you going to invite? I've already thought of who I'm going to ask and if he doesn't want to go then I've got a number 2." I asked bitting into another Oreo. "Um, I think I'm going to bring Daniel." She said taking a cookie. "Oooh, the boyfriend of course. You want to make your move and have your first kiss under the stars." I said. "Miya it's been a month that you two have been dating, and you guys haven't kissed, that's pretty sad. Brian and I have been dating for almost the same time and we've kissed like twice." I said taking another bite. "What are you girls taking about?" Asked my dad. "Just about who we are bringing on my camping trip." I said hopping off the counter to hug my dad. "Well ok then I'm about to head out to work so call me if you need anything." He said after giving me a kiss on the cheek. "Bye dad." I said. "So who are you going to bring?" Miya said. "I already asked Corey but he didn't want to go. So I'm going to ask Brian." I said. "Oh ok.  So you make fun of me for bringing my boyfriend but you can bring yours." She said leaning on the counter. "Ok..butt vibrating." I said standing up strait. "It's Brian, hey what's up." I said talking into the phone. "Hey Mia look out side your room window." He said. "Why?" I asked confused. "Just do it!" He said. "Ok, ok, I'm going." I said. I hung up the phone and Miya and I went up stairs. I opened up my small window and stuck my head out. I saw Brian standing outside with his hand in his pockets and the other behind his back, "what's that behind your back?!" I asked screaming out the window. He pulled out a bouquet of flowers in a variety of breeds. "Mia, I love you." He said. I ran outside as fast as I could, I opened the door and ran outside. "Why are you so cute." I said rhetorically. He gave me a kiss and we headed inside. "I have a question for you." I said. "Will you come with us camping?" I asked as we walked through the door. "Sure where are we camping?" He asked as sat on the couch. "The mystery woods. You already said yes and you can't back out." I said as he looked at me. "Fine, when are we going?" He asked. "Halloween." Miya said walking down the stairs. "Mia that's the most dangerous time to go." He said scooting over to turn to me. "I know that's why I'm going then. I want to see what goes on in those dark, beautiful woods. Every Halloween I hear these noises in there and I wonder what they are and now I actually have a chance to, but I'm going to need your help. I can't go in there, not alone." I explained. Brian put his hand on my shoulder "no matter what happens we will be by your side and we won't back out." He said with words of wisdom. 

We had settled everything and Miya went to go ask Daniel. Later in the month on October 30th night we had all our stuff in the back of my car and we left the day after. Miya came over and we went to pick up the guys. I parked right outside the forest and we got all our stuff out of the trunk. We started walking into the forest and found a big open space to set up. "I'm going to go get some wood so we can start a fire for camp. I'll be back in a minute." I said finishing up my tent. I took a flashlight and bag and went deeper in through the trees. I picked up small sticks and stuck them into my bag. I went deeper and deeper picking up the small sticks.
