"We haven't heard from anyone since the day you went missing." I said. "What do you mean?" She asked.

Mia's POV

"How long have I been missing?" I kept asking questions hoping to get an answer from someone. "A month." I heard someone say. I looked back and saw Bud, "what, why am I freaking out about this. When I woke up I was in my bed at my house, then I went to Brian's house, you come home all beat up, and now..my hair is white." I looked at a piece of my hair that was in front of my eye. Everybody just stared at me, I ran out and sped to the cave. I slid in and sat on the edge of the pool, "Mia Anderson." I heard someone say my name and I quickly turned around and stood up. I saw a dark figure in the corner and they put their hands up hoping I wouldn't hurt them. They walked closer and I backed up a little, I wanted to use my powers but I remembered that I couldn't use them in here. "Who are you?" I said, my breathing starting to become heavy. "I..its me Lexi." She said. I calmed down and walked over. "Alexa, you scared me." I said walking over. I sat down on the edge of the pool and she sat next to me, "what's wrong?" She asked. I looked at her confused, "I wouldn't be your best friend if I couldn't tell whether you were sad or not." She explained. "You have it easy, you don't have to go around saving people from burning buildings or bank robberies. My life is full of complications, I'm running from so many things that keep catching up to me." I explained trying to hide the truth. "Mia, what's wrong. You monologue every time you lie." She said. I dropped my head back and sent her a stare, "this cave is like the most strangest place ever, yet I still come here. It calms me down," I said. "What's your point?" She asked. "My point is, according to the guys, I've been missing for a month, and nobody has heard or seen my parents or my aunt." I explained. She gave me a look, I gave her another look don't ask. "But everything I said before is true, I take care of the city while you take care of hair." I said. She lowered her head and looked at her reflection in the pool, I felt something wrap around my foot and it pulled me into the pool. It dragged me down farther and farther like there was no bottom, I looked up and saw Lexi swimming down then everything went dark. I had hit my head on a rock and it knocked me out. I felt a hand on my stomach and something shook me, I shot up and I saw Lexi in front of me. I felt this stinging pain on my forehead and I touched it with a finger. I took my hand away and saw blood all over it, I dropped my head back and closed my eyes. I heard faint voices up out of the cave and I looked over at the hole. "Watch out there's a hole right here." I heard a man say. All of the sudden I heard a scream, I stood up and Lexi did the same. I saw a girl about the same age as me and she was unconscious, "oh my gosh.. Sierra?" I said racing over to her. "Are you ok?" The man said. We didn't say anything, the I stood up and I heard sliding. Something knocked me down and I fell on top of it. I looked up and it was a guy, I got up and recognized him as Luis, "Luis?" I said. "Mia, hey." He said. He looked over to Sierra and I scooted back, Lexi helped me up and the stinging pain came back. Luis took out his phone and called a paramedic, blood started to drip from my forehead and down my cheek. "It's getting bad, Mia." Lexi said.

15 minutes later I heard sirens, Luis ran out and I started to lose my balance. "You ok?" Lexi asked. I nodded and leaned on the wall, I was right next to the pool and there were vines laying all around the pool. I saw two people come down and I stood up straight, Luis stood next to the opening and someone else came down. Zack was one of those people. "Zack?" I said slowly walking over because everything felt like it was spinning. All of the sudden the ground started to shake, this is the season for earthquakes. Rocks started to fall and I saw one was about to hit Zack, I quickly moved him out of the way and we flew to the ground. The rock landed on my ankle breaking it, I groaned in pain. The rock rolled off my foot and into the water, Zack got up and picked me up. "You help and get her to the truck I'll take Mia." Zack said to Luis. Lexi followed us and Zack laid me on a wall, "your not healing." Lexi said. "Well that's unfortunate." I said. My phone vibrated and I took it out of my pocket. Brian was calling, "what do I say?" I asked showing them who was calling. "I don't care I'm answering it, hello?" I said into the phone. "Where are you? I called you like three times now." He said. "Oh sorry I must've been in a place with bad signal. I'm at the mountain, I'll meet you at the lab in a little bit." I said. "No, I'll come over there." He said then hung up. All of the sudden he was here, "what's happening here." He said looking at Zack, Lexi, and I. No one said anything, I laid my head back and closed my eyes, I don't really remember what happened but I woke up in a hospital bed, the room was dark and a tv was on in the corner of the room, my eyes were open but to the point to where you couldn't tell. Miya came in and Daniel, Marco, Joey, Lucy, Zack, Maggie and a couple other people followed close behind. Miya handed a cup to Brian who was sitting in a chair next to the bed, "how is she?" Lucy asked. "Stable, but somethings changed." He said. Then Nathan walked in, he had flowers in his hand and everybody moved out of the way. "I just came to drop these off." He said, then started to walk out of the room. "Wait." I finally said. Everyone stared at me, I opened my eyes all the way and turned my head towards Nathan. "Sorry, I just wanted to say thanks." I said. I slowly sat up with pain rushing through my body, "why are we here, Janet, Mathew. Guys what's going..." My mom, dad, and aunt walked into the room. "Guys can I talk to my family for a minute." I said. Everybody walked out of the room and my parents and aunt moved closer to the bed. My aunt came closer to the bed and my parents followed, "what happened?" My dad asked. "Long story." I said. "Where have all of you been for the past month?" I asked crossing my arms over my chest. They all looked at each other,"longer story." They said. "You know what, you can tell me later," I said in anger. "Can we come in know?" Miya asked poking her head through the doorway. I nodded and everyone who was outside walked into the room, Brian was being a smarty pants and sped out to get ice cream for everybody. A little later they took me for an X-ray for my ankle and they gave me a cast and crutches. We all headed over to Sierra's room and saw that she was awake, "Sierra?" We all said quietly. Everybody walked in and of course I was the last one in. "Mia?" Sierra said slowly sitting up. I sat down next to her on the bed and leaned the crutches onto the desk she had right next to the bed."how are you, I haven't seen you in like a million years." She laughed. We hugged and Brian handed her a bowl full of chocolate ice cream.
