Chapter 1// Crushing on my bff

"WAKE UP!!" suddenly, I'm hit with a humongous comfy pillow; who knew soft things could hurt?!

I immediately opened my eyes to see, Andrew snickering.
"ANDREW!" I smacked him with his own pillow, as he died of laughter.

"You should have seen your face!" he said cracking up, I rolled my eyes.

Andrew Cooper, my best friend since kindergarten, he had short baggy brown hair, beautiful crystal blue eyes, his face was dark, but pale at the same time.

"Come on Olive, were going to be late for school!" I crossed my arms, my real name was Olivia, but Andrew the stubborn boy he was, insisted on calling me Olive, you get use to it after years!

I usually slept at Andrew house, since he lived so close to me, it was natural.

"Why does school exist again?" I said rubbing my eyes tiredly, he excitedly clapped, he had a HUGE speech about the reason we go to school.

"So we can get into a good college, and get a scholarship, and get jobs, to make money, so we can support our family in the future" he said bouncing up and down, Andrew was one of the smartest kids at our school, he wanted to become a doctor.

"Now come on lazy pants, get out of bed!!" he said slapping my leg, I finally got up and looked in his drawers.

I stayed at his house so much, it was like a second home; I had clothes and makeup all over his room.

"Should I wear to the red dress today, or the black skirt and-"

"Why do girls care so much about looks?" he said rolling his eyes, I crossed my arms and stared at him.

"So we can look good for boys!! And do you want girls to walk around with no makeup, they would look like zombies!!" he rolled his eyes as I blabbed on how much looks matter.

Looks mattered to me a lot because, I was queen popular. I know, the nerdiest boy, and the most popular girl, best friends?! Breaking all rules of social status, but I didn't care about all that!

And just to get it off my chest, I will amit I do have a tiny crush on Andrew, OK fine, a huge crush on Andrew!

I mean he was just so quirky, funny, smart, and down right cute!

As I walked into the bathroom to change, I heard my phone ring, I checked to see who it was, Xavier.

I rolled my eyes and quickly answer it.

"Hey babe" Xavier said on the other line, I almost gagged.

"Xavier what is it now?" I said impatiently, Xavier had a huge crush on me and was extremely jealous of Andrew.

He has asked me out, 14 times, and I have rejected him everytime!

"I was wondering if after all these years you like to meet!" he sang, I almost died of laughter.

"Xavier, singing one of my favorite songs is not going to help!" I said rolling my eyes, but then I realized that he couldn't see me, this was a phone conversation.

"Dang it! It was worth a try" he said hanging up, make that 15 times...

I finished changing and putting on my makeup and headed downstairs with Andrew.

"SARA, COME ON!!" Andrew yelled heading for the door, Sara was Andrew's twin sister (AKA one of my best girl friends)

Sara came rushing down the stairs with a soccer ball in her hand, and a piece of toast in her mouth.
