Chapter 19// wheelchair

Olivia POV

"How are you feeling?" I signed, already use to doctors and nurses checking in every 10 minutes.

I feel horrible, I might never see someone I really care about again.

"I feel better" the nurse nodded, her name was Tiffany, she had curly blonde hair and was very pale.

She was nice and beautiful, her rosy cheeks raised as she smiled with her pearl white teeth.

"Lunch is on the way" she walked out with a wave.

I looked around the small room, there was a small wooden table nearby my bed.

It contained of colorful flowers, get better soon cards, teddy bears, and balloons.

I looked down at my legs, I twisted my ankle. I also broke my arm, I looked at my bright pink case on my arm. It had tons of signatures, and on my ankle, I had a blue cast with even more signatures.

The door opened and Tiffany came out with a lunch tray.

"Chicken salad, asparagus, and steamed mash potatoes!" she placed the tray of food on my lap.

"And ice tea!" she placed the beverage in my hand.

"Thanks Tiffany"

"No problem" she walked out once more, leaving me with the food.

2:30, it was the nurses and doctors lunch break.

I put the food aside and hopped down from my bed.

I hopped to my wheelchair and wheeled out.

I sneaked into Andrew's room, I did this everyday.

I saw Andrew wired up to what seem to be thousands of machines.

A tear rolled down my cheek, one day I hoped that I would come here and he would wake up, see me.

I signed and went back to my room, were I was caught by Tiffany.

"Olivia! It is dangerous to come out of your room!!" she said crossing her arms.

"I'm sorry" I whispered.

She pushed me away, back to my room.

"Now stay put!" she closed the door and I hopped back in my bed.

I was bored out of my mind here!

Miriam POV

"Look Miriam, I know this is bad"

"This is worse than bad!!"

"I'll figure it out!!"

"You better" Jake and I shook hands, and he walked off.

I shivered in the cold alleyway, I began to walk out when I spotted a policeman across the street talking to a lady.

"Shit" I mumbled, I looked around for an another way out, I found a ladder leading to a roof on a building.

I started to climb the ladder.

"Hey get back down!" I heard the policeman yell, I could not be caught.

I went up faster and made it to the roof, I looked down and saw the man coming up the ladder, I panicked.

I looked around and saw wooden piece of wood.

I started to bang on the ladder, and the ladder fell down, with the policeman.

I gasped in fear.

"Hurry, we have to go" I turned around and saw Jake with his hand out.

I grabbed his hand, and we rushed out of there.

"Were going to jump"

"JAKE ARE YOU INSANE!!"

"The gang is going to catch you" my life has changed ever since I joined Jake's gang.

I joined the gang last year, I've known Jake all my life. I then went to Jake's school, and become friends with Olivia.

Olivia was close to Cameron, and Jake needed Cameron, out of his way.

But Andrew and Olivia knew too much, so Jake stole a car and smashed into them.

They ended up in the hospital, and the police couldn't figure out it was Jake.

"Miriam, do you trust me" Jake stared at me with his brown hazel eyes, I nodded.

I jumped off the building, I was caught by Jake's gang.

"Jake jump down!" I yelled back, he jumped down and was caught too.

Jake went up to me and pulled me closer to him. He grabbed my head and pushed his lips on mine.

We heard sirens in the background, Jake grabbed my hand and had everyone move out.

"I need you to do something for me" Jake whispered, "Make sure Andrew doesn't wake up"

My eyes opened wide, he wanted me to kill him, I bit my lip.

"Are you sure? Shouldn't we get out of here?"

Jake shook his head, "Jake, I don't know"

"Would you rather me get caught?" I shook my head.

"I wouldn't want that to happend"

"Then do it" he walked away leaving me in the back of the building, in tears.

I had to kill Andrew Cooper.
