Chapter 27: the tree
Andrew POV:
I remember nothing.
Everyday, all I hear is, remember this? I just nod, play along, but I still remember nothing.
There one thing I fell like everybody is depending on me to remember, Olivia. She is supposed to be my best friend everyone says, she your true love they say.
Olivia always comes to my locker and shows me pictures, always talks about the past, I just can't remember.
I always say something like, I think its coming back to me, or I'll try to remember, but I just can't.
I was walking home when Olivia popped out of nowhere.
"Hey Andrew! So I was wondering if you wanted to hang out or something"
I just couldn't take anymore of this.
"Look Olivia, I know you're trying to get Andrew back, well he is not coming back! I don't remember you and I probably never will so please just leave me alone"
Her face suddenly dropped, she stared at the ground, she looked as if she was going to cry.
I regretted everything I said, "Olivia I'm sorry-"
"Its fine" she mumbled, she then walked away leaving me with guilt.
I walked home thinking about the words I said, she was just trying to get her friend back, I felt awful.
When I got home, I saw Sara with crossed arms and a raised eyebrow, that couldn't be good.
"ANDREW HOW DARE YOU SAY THAT TO OLIVIA!" she yelled, I bit my lip and avoided eye contact.
"I'm sorry, I don't know what got into me-"
"Look I don't care if you're on your man period, just apologize" she then walked off angrily.
I signed and threw my backpack on my sofa. I felt bad, but at the same time angry, everyone expected me to be with Olivia, I just didn't want that.
~
"Andrew we're going on a field trip" my twin sister said happily, I looked at her confused.
"We have school-"
"This is more important!" she tossed me a backpack and dragged me to her car.
We started the drive, the long awful drive.
~
"We're here!" she said clapping her hands happily, I got out of the car, we were in the middle of nowhere.
Another car was in front of us, there was no building in sight, the only thing here was a huge tree, it looked very familiar.
A blonde girl came out of the blonde car, it was Olivia.
She walked up to me nervously, her eyes looked at the direction of the tree.
"This was our tree as you would call it" she whispered, I looked curiosity at the tree, it was so familiar.
Suddenly it hit me, I gazed at Olivia, memories flooded my brain.
Flash back:
"Okay, fine" my mom said crossing her arms, me and Olivia jumped in excitement.
"You kids have 10 minutes, be back at the campfire" I took Olivia's hand and leaded her to a big tree.
When we were driving to the campsite, I noticed this tree and begged my mom to take Olivia.
"This is so cool!!" she said happily, she began to climb the tree, I looked at her nervously.
"Come on Andrew, you scared?" she said laughing, I crossed my arms.
"No way!" even though in reality, I was terrified of heights.
"Prove it" she challenged, I then began my climb.
Me, 12 year old Andrew cooper was scared of a tree, how pathetic.
I was going to prove Olivia wrong.
End of flashback:
It all came back to me, I remember, I looked at Olivia.
I remembered her, the girl of my dreams was in front of my eyes.
I grabbed her hand, she looked at me confused and nervously bit her lip.
I couldn't take it anymore, I needed her, I pulled her close to me and placed my lips on her.
I heard her gasp, she moved her body closer to mine.
She then broke the kiss.
"I missed you olive"
