He handed me the note I needed and I ran to the car.
I open the passenger side door and hopped in, still crying.
I wait for Ryan and I wasn't even surprised when he started to walk to the car in tears.

Finally!! I get to see Maria!
She adopted me when I was Five.
She has been my only parent.
I only came with those guys to save her.
I watched as Maisy ran out of the car to see Ryan.
Hmm. Ryan. That name sounds familiar.
Anyway I walked to the door that said Maria on it and ran in.
It was furnished like the adoption center.
And Maria was cleaning.
"Maria!!"
She ignored me.
She started laughing.
"You seriously thought I cared about you."
Tears pinched my eyes.
"Maria. Please this isn't you."
"Stupid child, you've never understood."
"Maria! Open your eyes this isn't you!!"
I scream throwing my fist into the table.
She slapped me.
"I gave you up as a child!! I only took you back for the Hunt you idiot!!"
She smile happily knowing she had finally let out her biggest secret.
She handed me a note and told me to leave.
I walked to my car, just to Maisy crying in my car.
Ashton probably did the same thing to her.
I jumped into the driver seat.
"Ashton?"
I ask her.
She shook her head, Yes.
"Maria?"
Her frail voice came out soft and scratchy.
"Yeah."
She sat there crying, while I was confused.
Why would they do this to us?
I went to turn on the radio but I saw a note.
"Did you enjoy seeing your loved ones??
Go to The River adoption center."
"My adoption center."
Maisy and I murmured at the same time.
We gave each other a puzzled look.
