My eyes opened quickly.

"Maisy!"

"Hey."

I smile.

"How much of that did you hear?"

"All."

My smile grows.

His cheeks turn a deep shade of red.

"Is it tru-"

The door opens and the nurse walks in.

"Oh Maisy!! Your awake!!"

"Yeah."

I said then suddenly regretted it when my side felt like it was being stabbed again.

"I'll go get you food. And medicine."

She said as I winced once again at the pain.

She left.

"Yes. I meant it."

I smiled.

I kissed him on the cheek, moving and hurting even more.

He carefully made me lean back into my laying position again.

"Don't hurt yourself."

I nodded.

I looked at the bandage and was curious.

"What did they do?"

"Cleaned it. Fixed it a bit, and other medical stuff."

He smiled.

The nurse came in.

"Here's your food and you may leave today. But your on bed rest."

She said.

I nodded my head knowing that wasn't going to happen.

"Oh and someone is here for you. I'll send him in."

She left and I got worried.

Ryan grabbed my hand and just as I expected the man walked it.

"Aren't you happy to see me?"

The man asked.

"I came to tell you I'm extending the hunt."

I gave him a questioning look.

"You have only one day left, the week is almost over. But you went into a coma you have three more days."

And with that he left.

"I'm scared."

I told Ryan.

"I am too, but we can do this."

I shook my head trying to convince myself he was right.

"The wasn't a note."

"I know."

Ryan's eyes glistened with tears.

"What?"

"You weren't supposed to make it."

He says handing me the note.

"Hello Ryan, Your precious Maisy is and should be dead. Go to the Coffee shop. And on the way remember how, Maisy died, sad, lonely, and unloved."
