Chapter 3
I ran with all my might. I ran and ran. Ricky wouldn't give up would he?
My heart thumped in my chest uncontrollably. I had to stop. I ran into
the nearest classroom, Lab 12. I quickly found a spacious cupboard. He
wouldn't catch me there. I heard footsteps. He found me, no, he can't!
I heard him open every cupboard. Mine was the last. Slow footsteps
echoed and His words rang out 'I've caught you Rosemary Summer
Anderson,' I screamed as the creak of the cupboard door rang out.
PRESENT DAY
I jolted up from my dream. Rosemary Summer Anderson? That's not me.
I'm Charlie Rose Summers. I ignored the dream. It was stupid. Today
was another day of school. Fun. Not.
When I got to school, everyone stared at me. Everyone was silent. Did
everyone know? No, they couldn't!
'What's Up Guys?' I said putting on my best fake, innocent face.
'We know,' Daisy Merall, a girl in my maths class said.
'Y-You know?' I stammered.
'How you did all that stuff 5 years ago,' Daisy spoke.
What. The. Hell.
'Charlie!' I heard a shout and I was jolted into real life. That's
wierd? Two dreams in one dream?
For real this time, everyone was just their usual selfs when I got to
school.
'Charlie!' Candy shouted. I groaned silently, this was the usual
ritual, EVERY morning.
'Yes?' I asked, calming myself.
'My mum has just arranged for you to stay with us for 5 days! Yes! 5!'
My heart sunk, this was disaster.
'When?'
'Tomorrow!'
'Oh, I have to ask my sister,' I said.
'My mum has already asked your mum. She said yes.' Candy smiled.
My mum?
'Look Candy, I don't know what your playing on me. But your sick
twisted joke has gone wrong. My mum died 4 years ago.' And with that,
I walked away.
