Giovanni's aqua blue eyes sleepily fluttered open, the large and innocent orbs catching the morning rays. His soft, pink lips opened into a silent yawn, the abnormally large and pointed canines poking out from under the pale masses of flesh. It was warm here in the stranger's house. It had stunned him, for in his own home, he was greeted by the brisk, cold air. But Gio's amazement was interrupted by the movement in his arms. He cast his aqua eyes down, his long similarly colored hair forming shadows on his face, the two aqua orbs getting lost in a sea of blue strands. Leo, his little brother, was muttering in his sleep. His dark hair made his cat ears blend perfectly, making it look like one big clump of messy hair. Gio's own ears matched his hair... and so did his tail. Yes, Tail. The long, fluffy limb swished calmly about, intertwining with the younger male's own extremity.
The two foreign creatures cuddled in the large, soft bed. Leo, the younger of the two, let his onyx colored eyes open, only for them to blindly wander up towards his brother's own aqua ones. Suddenly, the black-haired brother's face grew sad. His eyes faded to a soft gray color, and his hair turned blonde. Small, wet droplets attacked his eyes, and his fingers dug into Gio's hoodie. The aqua haired neko sat up, and pulled him into his lap, holding him into his arms. "Niccolo..." He spoke, his very melodic, soft voice addressing his little brothers other half.
The two Vexian held the unfortunate problem of having a split personality. Leo's other half was Niccolo, or Nic. Gio's other half was Dahvain, or Dahvie. Nic came out when Leo got very emotional in respect to his innermost thoughts.... And Davhie, on the other hand... Well, he was just a piece of work himself. It was still strange how the pair of personalities seemed to be switched. Normally, Gio was shy and selfless, while Leo was cunning and selfish. And on the other hand, Niccolo was very naïve and emotional, while Dahvie was very strong willed and keen. It would almost seem that Gio and Niccolo would be better as brother. Hell, Leo even stated that he loved Dahvie's crazy. Still, Dahvie could never give up Niccolo... he cared too much, even if he was a bit extreme at times.
Rather than focusing on his inner demons, Gio turned his focus to the upset boy in his arms. The crying boy sniffled and started to murmur unintelligible words. Eventually the younger of the two had calmed down enough to form a sentence, and he expressed his fears to his brother. The words he spoke were in a different language, the accent making the words roll off of his tongue flawlessly. Gio listened as his brother rambled, and once he finished, the aqua haired male began to reassure him. Soon the tears stopped, and the newly blonde neko's hair started to fade back to its old black color, his eyes following shortly after. Leo looked at his brother, the previous wave of sadness being replaced by playfulness. His eyes sparkled as his lips opened to speak a challenging request. "Talv Kor Shov, Vrozcow?" His silky and alluring voice begged for him to accept his challenge. He had spoken, 'Dance with me, brother?', and this was a dance that made Gio's plump, pink lips turn into a very Leo-like smile. The two boys grinned foolishly at each other, loving what would come next.
A large, black portal opened behind either of the boys. It swirled and churned, the fire that rested on the edges licked the surrounding air. They both reached behind themselves and gripped their portals, the edges of the fire flicking against their skin harmlessly. Gio's portal had aqua flames that matched his hair, and Leo's was a bright yet light pink. They both kicked off of the bed and pulled themselves through. Two more portals opened at the area near the foot of the bed, and they both came out of the portals the opposite way they came in. Instead of pulling themselves in, they were pulling themselves out. They both hit the ground softly, the sound of their bare feel almost inaudible. Their ears were pricked, and their eyes now slit like a cats. They both leapt upwards and landed in mid-air. In truth, they were standing on portals... very small ones. It was called portal running.
The two boys started to circle each other, opening a new portal with each step. Eventually Leo got done waiting and sprung into action. He swung his torso forward, bringing himself into a handstand position, with his hands using the portals as a substitute for the ground. But instead of merely using it for balance, he sunk his fingers into it, the large cat-like claws dug into the back of Gio's hoodie, keeping him in place. Gio didn't notice that the receiving end of his brother's portal was behind him, so he had to think fast to avoid his attack. Leo swung his legs and waist forward, throwing them at him in an attempt to knock him over. Gio quickly opened a portal in front of Leo's legs, the limbs appearing through another portal that Gio had placed in front of Leo's head. Hearing his own feet flying at himself, he pushed off of the portals he gripped and through the portal provided by his brother. As soon as Leo's grip was gone, Gio opened a portal under himself, dropping though it. Leo landed gracefully on two portals, his brother mimicking him. Gio shot towards the door, running across the portals. He opened one on the door, which would lead him into the hallway outside the room. Leo followed, placing his own portal to the door, but before he could get through it, Gio had placed another in front of his, making him land on the soft bed that they had previously shared. Leo's lips turned into a deadly smirk as he fell through a portal under himself.
Now in the hall, Leo's ears pricked, the younger boy using the sound devices scattered about to find his way around the foreign home. He heard movement echo from down the hall and he followed after, using his portals to aid him. They continued to chase one another, and eventually pulled out their helpful tools. Gio's was a katana, the handle decorated with his crest, being the one who created it. Leo's was a sleek, black bow -- It had gold designs on it, including their family crest. Leo only had 5 arrows, for that was all he needed. He never missed, and his arrows didn't ever break or get lost. It was impossible due to them being tied to his Being. Each arrow had a smooth, black shaft and the tips of the arrowheads were gold.
Leo started their new wave of attacks. He started to set his bow, but no arrows were visible. If you watched closely, you could see that a small, fist sized portal appeared at the front of his bow. Leo reached one of his small hands in and gripped onto the end of an arrow and pulled it out of the portal, setting it and drawing back. Without any hesitation, he shot the arrow back into the portal and reached in so he could set another arrow. This time, he opened a new portal to shoot it in. Nearly moments after this one was shot, a small portal opened by Gio and the arrow shot out at a blinding speed.
