Halloween Party

This is set a few years in the future. Ghostbird team are all 18 now and are in a relationship. Sang is also in the Academy.

Sang POV

How is it still so hot here. We just got off the plane in Houston. Sean's cousin, Renji, invited us to their Halloween party. We came a day early so we would not be tired for the party. I have never been to Texas, I hope we get to sight see before we leave. Renji is suppose to meet us at baggage claim. I really like Renji and his family. They have a family like ours. Renji, Loki and Dan are married to Jaylia. She has two kids from her first marriage, Ben and Allie. I have met them once before when they visited us in Charleston last year.

"Is it always so hot here?" Luke asks from behind me.

"Since Texas is further south than Charleston they stay warmer longer." Kota tells us from the front of our pack.

We exit security and head towards baggage claim. I see Renji near the door when we get close. I point him out to Sean and he runs the rest of the way there and pulls his cousin into a big hug. By the time the rest of us get there they have already said their hellos.

"Hello Sang it is good to see you again. I hope Sean and your boys are treating you good." He bows to me as he says his greeting.

"Hello Renji. They are treating me excellent. How are the kids?"

"They are growing so fast." Renji gets a dreamy smile on his face when I mention the kids. Renji loves kids and he is so good with them. "They are looking forward to the party tomorrow night. Allie is going as Elsa from Frozen and Ben is Batman."

"Very cute. We are looking forward to the party too. It is all that we have been talking about for over a week." I tell him as the boy's return with our luggage. I didn't even see them leave to go get it. I take my bag and we all head out to the parking lot.

"I got your rentals already. There is a map to the hotel in each car. You are only a block from our studio. You can go get settled in your rooms and we can meet at the studio about 4. The kids will be out of school about then. We have dinner reservations at 6."

"Sound good. Let's load up and head out." Owen tells everyone. When we finally admitted our love he dropped the formality with me and the boys.

Once we get to the hotel Owen and Victor check us into our rooms. Since we are only here three night the boys drew straws on who would sleep with me each night. I am with Sean tonight, then North and lastly Owen. We have five rooms with two people per room. Getting up to our rooms which are all next to each other Owen tells us to unpack and relax for a while before we head to the studio. I get unpacked and decide to take a nap before we leave. I lay down and am out like a light.

They decided to take us to Saltgrass Steakhouse for dinner that night. The steak was amazing and the company was fabulous. We just finish our food when Loki stands to make a toast. "I would like to thank you all for coming. As family we would like to share a special announcement with you first. Our family is growing, Jaylia is expecting our child."

The whole table goes crazy. Sean jumps up and gives Renji a big hug. I go and hug Jaylia. When everyone settles down I ask Jaylia who the father is.

"We don't know and frankly we don't care. They are all dad, just like they are to Ben and Allie." She tells me as she rubs her stomach. I sit back in my chair and look at my boys. That will be me someday.

The next day we are all getting ready for the Halloween party. Meanie is helping me with my makeup and costume while the rest of the boys get ready. The boys decided to go as 50's style mobsters and I am a 50's pin up girl I guess you would call it. I am in a tight off white dress with red flowers on it and I have a big red flower in my hair.

"Oy, Trouble you are perfect. I am going to go finish getting dressed. We are meeting in the hall in 10 minutes." Gabriel tells me as he is leaving my room.

I go into the hall when it is time to meet and stop dead in my tracks. Wow my boys are hot. I realize I forgot to breath when I start to get light headed. I take a big deep breath and here the boys chuckle at my predicament.

"Alright boys enough laughing at me, let's go." I tell them in my sternest voice.

"We weren't laughing at you Pookie, you took our breath away too." Sean tells me with a kiss on the cheek.

"You are exquisite Sang." Owen tells me as I pass him on my way to the elevator.

"Thank you Owen, now are we goi to go or just stand here all night." At my words the boys finally get a move on and we are on our way.

The party is kicking off when we make it to the studio. We see all of the Houston Academy people milling around talking. There are games for the kids and adults alike, I say that because I know Luke will be playing them too. Food is set up in front of the Windows. Music is playing from hidden speakers so Gabriel and Luke pull me onto the makeshift dance floor by the hallway that leads to the back.

We dance a few songs when the music stops and I see Loki standing on a chair to speak to everyone. "Welcome friends and guests. We are honored that you could make it to our first Halloween party. At this time I am going to turn the floor over to Owen Blackbourne from the Charleston Academy."

I look over to Owen and see him walking to where Loki is speaking. Luke and Gabriel lead me closer to where they are. I see the rest of my boys come closer to where we are too.

"Good evening everyone. I would like to say thank you for having us here tonight to celebrate with you. Thank you to Loki's family for hosting this party. As many of you know my brothers and I have a similar relationship with our Bird Sang as Loki and his brothers have with Jaylia." He pauses in speaking and I am pulled closer to him and my boys surround me. "Sang, you make my brothers and I the happiest men in the world. Would you do us the honor of marrying us?"

As he finishes they all get down on one knee, or at least that is what it looks like. I can't really see as I have tears running down my face. They start to look anxious and I realize it is because I haven't said anything.

"YES!!!" I shout and all my boys stand and hug me.
