Chapter 40

Jio's Perspective

I stared at her sleeping figure for exactly five minutes. She looks so pure, like an angel at peace.

I don't know what happened a while ago. With stern voice and blank face, she told me she wants to sleep shutting me up. It was the first time I saw her like that, it was a different Gabriella back there, totally not my Tricky girl.

"You made me nervous, you know? I thought you were a different person." I told her althought she cannot hear me and I don't want her to.

I smiled when she crinckled her nose when I tapped it.

I was about to tell her about the contract  pero pinigilan nya 'ko. Maybe it's not yet time for her to know it.

I grab my phone from the backseat and opened the camera, angled it infront of her face. She's too adorable and cute, and I want to remember this side of her.

"What a stupid thinking?" I uttered.

She will never change. That was just a one time attitude. Maybe I was being annoying and she really just want to sleep.

Pero kung sakali mang mag bago sya, I will still love her the same. I love Gab not because of her face or her attitude but because she is Gabriella. So, if ever her attitude will change, my love won't because she is still my Tricky girl.

"Just take the damn picture Jio, I want to open my eyes already." Gab said still keeping her eyes close but now smiling.

"You can open your eyes now, ang dami ko ng nakuha." She opened her eyes narrowing her eyes at me.

"You did?" She narrowed her eyes at me.

"Look." I let her show my gallery and her eyes widen in surprise.
She grabbed my phone and looked at the other folders.

"Since when did you took so many pictures of me?"

"Everytime we are together and when you're not looking?"

"Just wow! Paparazzi ka dati no? How can you took these pictures without me noticing? There's like a half of thousand of it." She said while scrolling at my phone, not believing those pictures.

"What can I say? There's nothing I can't do, you know." She rolled her eyes.

"Now here's the old Jio. He and his cocky attitude." She said then chuckled.

Gabriella's Perspective

"Are you really that concern now that we'd be sharing a room? It's not like we haven't slept on the same room before." He asked trying not to laugh. Nakakatawa ba?

"Iba 'to ngayon, pano kung..." I let the sentence hang. Nakakahiyang sabihin.

"May mangyare satin?" I dropped my head down, I know I would be as red as tomato kung ipagpapatuloy pa 'to ni Jio.

"So? We're in a relationship and both adults, I don't see anything wrong with that." I know he is smirking. I don't have to look at his face to confirm it.
I quickly grabbed the nearest thing to me and he's lucky that it was a pillow kung hinde, for sure magkakabukol sya dahil sa ulo nya natamaan 'to nung pagtapon ko.

And he started laughing -_-

"Nakakatawa? Grabe tawa mo ha." I said then carried one of my bags sa banyo.
I just arranged my things ng makapagpahinga na ako kesa naman pagtawanan pa 'ko ng lalakeng yun sa labas.

"It's just funny how worried you are na baka may gawin ka sakin, Tricky girl. If it was other girls, they would be worried na may gawin sa kanila yung boyfriend nila but here you are having the opposite thought." He called from the other side.
