Luke
A few months have gone by now and me and Ariana have gotten to know eachother really well. We're now best friends and she's really taught me a lot. She's also the reason I now have hope that life will get better for me. Ariana is the source of my happiness and the one person I go to when I need a shoulder to cry on. She's almost like my human diary, I can tell her anything. However, she's been acting a little odd around me these past few days. Which is why I was on my way to her house right now to talk to her. I pull up in her driveway and slowly approach the door and knock when a familiar face came in sight. "Hi Ms.Grande, is Ari here?" I ask her mother polightly flashing a small smile. "Oh hello Luke, yes I think she's upstairs. Come on in" she greeted opening the door wider for me and I walk inside up the staircase to Ariana's room. Once I reach her room the door was closed and I heard slight sniffles from the other side of the door. I frowned slightly and knocked lightly which must of startled her cause I heard her jump a little. She got up from her bed and opened the door revealing me. I looked at her concerned and shocked when I noticed her puffy eyes and stained cheeks obviously meaning she's been crying. "Ari, what's wrong? Is everything okay?" I ask pulling her into a hug. "H-he c-cheated o-n m-me" she said sniffling between each word. Ariana has been dating this guy Jai for the past 5 months. I held her in arms a little tighter her tiny body against mine. Then I place my finger under her chin to make her look at me. My piercing blue eyes meeting her sparkling brown ones. "Ari..look at me princess. It's okay. I never liked him anyway, I always knew something felt off about him". All it took were those words to get her sobbing in my arms again. "Luke, I love you. You're the best, best friend anyone could ask for". I smiled down at her playing with her hair gently and whisper. "I love you too..".
