And there we were, I was laying in the bed with Luke's arms wrapped around me. I could feel his chest rise and fall as he breathed while my head rested on it. We did this often, you know, cuddling. But in a best friend way, not a boyfriend; girlfriend way. This time was a little bit different though. We weren't watching a movie like we normally did when we cuddle, oh no. I was just laying there in his arms still sobbing. The tears ran down my face as all the memories flooded through my mind about Jai as Luke comforted me. We've been in this exact same position for almost 2 hours now. Then Luke got a call from his mom indicating to him that he had to go home. I frowned and looked at him as I lifted my head off his chest. "A-Ariana, I have to go now, but I-I'll see you later" he stuttered out and left. Huh, it wasn't normal for him to just stutter awkwardly and run out like that. Oh well, I just shrugged it off and wiped the tears from my cheeks. I sat there in silence to myself and turned on the T.V. to watch "The Walking Dead". As I sat there I looked over at my bedside table and noticed a picture in a frame. "Jai.." I mumbled to myself when I see the picture of me and Jai on our first date. I grab the picture frame and take the picture out of it. "Fuck him." I groan and crumble the picture up throwing it at the wall. And that night, for the first time in what seemed like forever, I went to sleep crying.

Luke
I pull into my driveway and sat there for a minute thinking to myself. "No, there's no way. You can't be in love with her Luke you only met 6 months ago. You aren't over Aleisha, you don't n-". I was cut off by the sound of my mom Liz shouting from the front porch staring at me. "Luke, come on inside now..it's cold outside". I nodded in response and slowly approached the door walking inside and up the stairs to my room. As I plop down on my bed I continue my thoughts. "Do you really like her? And if you do, does she like you back?" I shook my head "No Lucas that's ridiculous, she just got out of a breakup there's no way she could like you. Besides who would like someone as lame as you anyway?". I sighed and my head instantly shot to the door when I heard my mothers voice again. "Luke are you alright? You're acting weird" she whispered to me with her voice full of concern. "Y-yea I'm fine j-just confused" I respond quietly. "Confused about what?" she looked at me curiously and I turned my head towards hers. "I think I'm in love with Ariana".
