The bright lights woke him out of his sleep again. Shit, thought Aaron. Not this again. He already went through this once. He struggled against the shackles holding him down. Wait. He wasn't in the hospital. His dad walked over and stood above him. His green eyes shimmered.
"Dad?" Aaron asked. The only thing Aaron could see was his dad's right eyes and a tuft of his light brown hair.
"Dad?" Aaron asked again frantically, "Dad?! DAD! Hey, dad! DAD!" Aaron was hyperventilating and sweat was running down his forehead. His dad stepped forwards and Aaron screamed. What was his dad was now a mass of skin and muscles. One half of his dad's face was torn and bloody, fresh blood pouring out from the big wound. The muscle in his face was visible. It was various shades of red. His eye was extremely bloodshot, like it was bleeding. The other side was badly bruised and mangled. His other eye was swollen purple until it was almost shut. The eye Aaron saw was slowly becoming more and more red. His dad didn't look at all like his dad! He looked like one of the bodies in the center of town! Aaron couldn't stop panting, and the warm, swimming air engulfed him in spots and stars.
