"Dreams Money Can Buy, they told me it's like a high and it wasn't a lie."
2008 (Sometime in February)
"That was just a foot note. How long can he could go? Wonderin' when he stop? Bitch when the beat stop, so I'ma keep rockin' , till the sheet rock bend and the heat I send, burn skin. The end. Young Mula Baby."
Wayne rapped his last verse on our new track and came out of the booth to listen to what he had just recited. He stood still with his hands together bopping his head slowley to the beat. The new song was entitled Ransom. It was the first song I had ever recorded with Wayne and I was truly overjoyed by this whole opportunity and all the faith Wayne had in me.
When he finished listening to the rest he turned to me and said "Yeah Drizzy that's a rap! Nice work man." as he pulled me in for a hand shake.
"Oh, I almost forgot, there is somene I want you guys to meet."
Wayne and I were in the studio with the rest of Young Money. I looked around at everyone else to see if they were clued into what he was talking about. I looked back at at Wayne. He was looking at his phone as it made a short ringing noise, which means it was probably a text or something.
"Yeah, she's on her way."
"She?" I asked.
Mack chuckled. "It's about time they meet her Weezy."
"I know right." Wayne paused. "So should I tell them?"
"You don't want to wait till she get's here?" Mack asked.
"Yeah maybe I should."
We could all tell they we're trying to create supense.
"Drizzy you know what this is about?" Streets asked me.
"No idea."
"Nah Wayne, let's tell them now." Mack added.
"Shall I do the honours?" Weezy inquired.
Mack nodded his head.
"Okay well." Wayne clapped his hands once."There is this female that goes by the name of Jordan Kachingwe."
"Damn Weezy. Another baby mama eh?" Jae said as he grinned.
"No Millz. Not like that. She's a rapper and R&B singer."
Gudda, Millz, Streets, and I all looked at each other in disbelief.
I didn't wanna be rude or anything but it's not everyday when you come across a female rapper worth mentioning. So I looked back at Wayne, wanting him to continue what he was saying.
"She is a very talented young woman and Mack, Baby, and I are interested in signing her to Cash Money. I want her to be the first female on Young Money as well."
"How good is she?" Jae began to ask as the door to our recording room opened. We all stopped and watch Birdman walk in with a fine ass woman on his left.
"I'd like you all to meet Miss. Jordy"
She sweetly smiled at all of us then hugged Wayne and Mack. Streets, being himself, rushed up from the burgundy couch and trotted right up to her. "And you must be Jordy." He lightly grabbed her right hand and kissed it. "The names T-Streets, but you can call me whatever you want baby."
I rose from my seat trying to save Jordan from making the moment awkward for her. I stuck out my hand polietly . "Um Drake. Nice to meet you Jordan."
She smiled and shook my hand.
"Yeah I know. I heard your mixtape, Comeback Season. Wayne sent it to me." She let go of my hand.
Thank you wayne!
"Oh really? Did you like it?" I asked.
"Yeah, it was honestly amazing."
"So you gonna get in there Jordy?" Wayne asked her.
"Oh yeah sure."
She walked into the booth.
"Y'all gonna regret what you were thinking when I said she was a female rapper. She can sit on all ya faces."
We all laughed to ourselves as Mack played the beat and Nicki started to rap in the booth.
"I was on the plane wit Dewayne
