A Dark Love

Chapter 1

Your POV     

     The smell of hospital filled your nostrils and you groaned. Upon opening your eyes you discover that you are in a strange room. It's a hospital room but it has been abandoned for years and you are currently lying on the cold dirty floor. 

     You take a deep breath and observe your surroundings and then wonder how you ended up here. Slowly getting up from the ground you walk outside the room. The hallway was dark and you used the wall to feel your way. As you walk you feel a sticky substance on the wall. Before you could question this you hear the sound of footsteps at the end of the hall. It sounded like heels and it was coming closer. You don't trust this and turn around then go the other way. 

     The footsteps stopped. "What's this? My prey woke up before I came back?" murmured a smooth male voice. Suddenly you are pinned to a wall. Two red eyes stare down at you. "I wonder if I strike fear into the soul, would it spice up?" You then punch him and try to push him away. "Get off me!" you yell. Laughing at your reaction he released you. 

      The lights suddenly come on and he was gone. That's when you notice that the sticky substance you touched earlier is a very dark crimson red. Gulping, you turned away and to your relief you saw an exit near the lobby. You speedily make your way toward it but when you got to the door you found that it is shut tight. You then start to look for something to pry it open with but find nothing. You then decide to try and find a different exit. 

     You walked back and began your search. You went from room to room and stumbled across huge double doors. You walk in and was greeted by a horrific sight. Three bodies hanged from the ceiling. All of them had hooks in the back of their necks, keeping them up. A fourth hook lies on a table close to you. An amused chuckle echoes around you, "Tell me, would you like to join them?" 

     You then clench your fists and run out of the room and into a hall. His laughter echoed around her once again but you still couldn't find him. Suddenly you hear a deranged tune starting to play that sounds a lot like "London Bridge is Falling Down," and it was coming ever so closer. You look ahead and see stairs leading down, an elevator, and another hallway. There was also a door next to the elevator. The tune was coming from behind. 

     You decided to make your way down the hallway. It ended up leading you to yet another long hallway but this one was different. An organic smell engulfed you as you saw bodies laying scattered in the hallway. Their stench made you gag and place your hand over your mouth. You certainly didn't want to wade through the bodies but you also don't think it is a good idea to turn back either. You soon decide that it is safer to just wade through the bodies. Before you can make a move the roof above you caved in and narrowly missed you but as it hit the floor it made a huge gap. 

     Now your only options were to either climb the stairs to the rooftop or to jump. You decide to jump down the hole on the floor because you can't go anywhere on the rooftop. However as you made your choice the lights went out one by one. It looked like something out of a horror movie. You also noticed that the lights weren't only going out but the light bulb was also shattering. As one after the other pop with glass shards flying everywhere. The one above your head popped and you tried to dodge it but unfortunately some of the glass shards pierced your skin. 

     Once again you were engulfed by darkness. "I am getting tired of playing this game. Let's end this shall we?" you heard a voice speak behind you and soon felt a cold hand grip her wrist. You then boldly turn around and try to punch him but fail. You then push him down the hole in the floor and look at him to make sure he won't get up, and gladly he won't. You then go onto the rooftop and find a rope that leads down to the ground and climbs down it and then you eventually find your way home.
