⠀⠀The prince sighed, wondering what he could possibly do to entertain himself tonight. However, it appeared that entertainment came to him. A dashingly beautiful female approached him, flirting brilliantly with him, making him smirk. He adored this already, and inevitably wanted to join her.

⠀⠀"Greetings, Young Prince," Illusion spoke with a seductive purr in her voice. She approached the prince. "My my, what an unbelievably boring party you have here. It's nothing but dancing and classy music. But..it wouldn't be boring dancing with someone, would it?" Illusion's charm worked perfectly.

⠀⠀"What might your name be?" Kenshin asked in response, sounding flirtatious himself.

⠀⠀She inched closer and brushed against him. "Mm, c'mon princy-boo, join me on the dance floor. I'll tell you in a moment. And..maybe we can do a little something else while we're at it, hm?" The assassin batted her eyelashes, seducing the prince into dancing with her. She stared into his eyes and spoke via telepathy. I am in position. Teiboku, take out the guards—now!

⠀⠀He led her out onto the dance floor as the musicians began playing something slower and more romantic, which was perfect timing to be quite frank. The prince began dancing with her, of course. He immediately took control, leading her perfectly in dance. They looked brilliant to those who watched, and the dance he was doing with her kept her close, making the moment seem utterly romantic. "You know, you look quite beautiful. Why haven't I seen you before?" He questioned while continuing his dance with her.

⠀⠀A few more couples joined the dance floor while he talked, concealing them somewhat.

⠀⠀Kenshin was the type that fell for others quite easily. From mere flirting, he grew immensely attracted to her, and inevitably wanted to have an official relationship with her. He was usually good at maintaining said relationships; it was usually the girl to break up with him. Nonetheless, given to tonight's circumstances, and the numerous goals of the assassins, a relationship with this girl would be impossible. Hell, it would probably never happen at any point in their lives. Everyone was unaware that numerous guards had already lost their lives in a brutal way, rendering the entire palace utterly defenseless. Now, the royal family, and other military officials, were targets. Once the assassination began, there was no way in hell Kenshin would harbor anymore feelings for her.

⠀⠀A green blur flashed in front of the guards' eyes, alerting them immediately. Teiboku stood in front of them wearing a forest green cape and a mask made out of leaves, grasses, and other natural resources. "Welcome to Hell, you low life cattle," he stated cheerfully. "I hope I see you guys roasting with the devil!" With unimaginable speed, he let out lightning quick jabs and landed back where he was, watching as the men fell, one by one. Each had pressure points hit that paralyzed them. He walked up to the first one.

⠀⠀"What are you?" They asked fearfully.

⠀⠀"I'm just your everyday ordinary peasant." The young boy began snapping necks faster than the guards could scream "intruder" or "call for back up". They were dead within a minute. Alright guys, don't attack yet. I've taken care of the reinforcements. Once Illusion goes for the prince and Storm for the king, attack, create chaos, but don't let them escape.

⠀⠀Roger!

⠀⠀Illusion smiled as the prince took the lead, keeping her close. She rested her head on his shoulder and whispered into his ear. "The name is Akumu, but they call me Illusion, Deary." Side stepping and twirling, the assassin looked as people crowded around to watch the two dance together. Worthless dogs, she thought silently, I could kill you all with one blow. Illusion grinned, remembering the prince had commented on her beauty and asked why he hadn't seen her before. "Oh, I've always been a tad shy, sweetie," she replied seductively.

⠀⠀Haha, don't catch his playboy act. Teiboku's teasing voice rang in Illusion's ears. The guards are taken care of. The palace is defenseless. Move in for the kill, but don't execute until my signal.

⠀⠀Reikan began moving towards a large group of upper class citizens near the refreshments. He straightened his bow and disappeared into the crowd. No one noticed the boy revealing a single katana.

⠀⠀Storm eyed the king within the crowd of high ranking officials. Teiboku should be making his way down.

⠀⠀As on cue with Storm's thoughts, the young assassin made his way across the building where he entered the ventilation shaft. He slid down the ducts and looked through a vent, eyeing Storm and the officials. He leapt through the duct and onto the beams above the ballroom. There he scaled them quickly and picked a first target. Illusion, get ready! He said via telepathy.
⠀⠀
⠀⠀The sly foxed assassin smirked at her comrades. She sighed softly and hugged the prince tighter. "Mm, you're such a ladies man," she murmured. "I think you'd be great..for bitchy prostitutes perhaps." Illusion chuckled as Kenshin stepped away from her.
⠀⠀
⠀⠀He was surprised by her 'bitchy prostitute' statement. "W-What?" He asked quietly.

⠀⠀"You asked why you haven't seen me before. And you asked for my name. I answered truthfully, but haven't replied to the other. Why haven't you seen me?" The assassin revealed the hidden "claws" on her fingers and grabbed a long dagger from a hidden strap around her waist. She rushed forward to stab the prince. "My name is Illusion Tsukiakari, and I am your assassin!"

⠀⠀Seeing this inevitably made him back up more from mere instinct. He ended up striking another dancing couple, knocking them to the floor. This inevitably caused the ballroom to look in their direction as assassinations began... Then, it was chaos.

⠀⠀Reikan unsheathed his sword, and blue flames sprouted from his body. "Die in Hell, pigs!" He screeched, killing several citizens at once.

⠀⠀"Woo hoo! It's party time!" Teiboku yelled, jumping down from the post. He wrapped his legs around an official and twisted upside down, immediately snapping the man's neck. He jumped up and attacked another.

⠀⠀Storm walked silently within the stirring chaos. "Akuma Taiji burēdo akutibu ni." The scepter he had in his hands transformed into a long, golden blade. He easily knocked away any official who approached him, frantic to protect the king. Teiboku took those targets out with ease. The sorcerer looked the old man in the eyes. He could see the terror in the sovereign's gaze. He lifted his sword and pointed the tip at the man. "King Pheles, you are the target of the Revolutionary Assassination Squad. Prepare to die."

⠀⠀Teeth bared in a snarl, Illusion rushed the prince, aiming straight for his neck. She'd slice his carotid artery and end him quickly. She couldn't stand to look at the antagonizing face any longer. Surprisingly, Kenshin dove, and the assassin missed her target. "Damn.." She hissed, watching as he whipping out his sword, spitting venom at his "ex lover".

⠀⠀He swung his blade upward to strike. "You'll fucking pay for this!" He snapped viciously. The newfound chaos made Kenshin inevitably become concerned for his father. He needed to find him, and help him. Usually, Kenshin was considered to be extremely selfish, which was actually accurate. However, he became selfless when it came to those he cared about. He wanted to find his father, and save him. If someone was trying to kill the prince, there would inevitably be other people trying to kill the king. He knew that there were other people here that were also assassins since other people had already been killed. However, he needed to take care of Illusion first. "Go to Hell!" He yelled out as he began slashing furiously at her.

⠀⠀"Face the consequences!" Reikan snarled, stabbing another citizen. One cried out what they did to deserve this. "You pathetic curs. You leave the poor to suffer and starve while you dance in your pretty dresses and eat until you're stuffed. And then you throw leftovers in the trash like there's no meaning to them. My village starves while you pamper yourselves!" One man cried out as to why it was their fault peasants starved. That was a wrong move. In one fell swoop, his head disconnected with his body and fell to the ground. "Enough chit chat," Reikan spat, "it's time to die."

⠀⠀"You stupid peasants!" King Pheles slid a sword from its sheathe and rushed the sorcerer, but his body was failing him. The man was old, and the youth easily sidestepped and hit the king on the back of the neck with the butt of his sword handle.

⠀⠀"You're in no position to fight me, so don't even attempt to. Your death will be viewed by those my comrades haven't killed yet. It will show that you dogs cannot wield power over others and treat them as slaves." Storm grasped the king by the neck and lead him to the center of the ballroom while Teiboku cleared the way, using pressure points to make a path.
⠀⠀
⠀⠀"Stupid idiots, don't oppose me!" The young boy killed several more officials before realizing that he'd completely demolished his targets. Only citizens and the main targets were left. "Whelp, I'm gonna go find Illusion," Teiboku called to Storm. The sorcerer grunted and shoved the king forward, ready to reveal his death to the remaining targets. He of course didn't want to kill the king. He would be glad to give the stage to his friends.

⠀⠀"Piece of trash," Illusion spat, jumping back to dodge the prince's furious swipe upwards. He was faster than he looked, and the tip of his sword connected with her face. She felt liquid running down her neck and growled. Kenshin attacked again, slashing his sword in a messy attack pattern. She leapt backwards, using backflips to both dodge and kick away his sword.

⠀⠀Teiboku watched Illusion dodge the prince's attacks from the top pillar connected to the ceiling of the ballroom. You haven't finished that bastard, yet? Illusion, you're off your game, the boy teased via telepathy.

⠀⠀Shut up Teiboku, he's better than we all thought, Illusion replied agitatedly.
⠀⠀
⠀⠀Once she backed away, he ceased his reckless slashing, and merely glared at her. "You peasants disgust me. How dare you even attend this ball, much less try to assassinate royalty. Do you know how much we've done for you? We're the reason other kingdoms haven't taken over. We provide for your simple defense, and this is how you treat us? You're all pathetic..." The eighteen year old prince stated, before gaining an arrogant smirk on his face that would easily tick anyone off. "I'll have you and your idiotic friends executed for this, and I'll make sure I'm the one to do it. You'll all be receiving an execution tonight, so enjoy your last breaths." He spoke intimidatingly and threateningly whilst maintaining a certain sadistic beauty in and within his speech.

⠀⠀"Done? Done for!?" Illusion rushed forward with such speed, but instead of dealing a death blow, she landed a punch to the prince's cheek—hard, wiping his arrogant smirk off his face. "You fucking bastard! Anyone less than the stupid upper class citizens with their crap money has been starving or abused! You're stupid to think that we've faired well under your pathetic rule. You won't be executing me and my comrades tonight. It'll be you we send to Hell!"

⠀Before the prince moved in to attack and inevitably attempt to murder Illusion, he noticed the crowd begin dissipating around him. A large amount of people had fled to corners of the ballroom, while an even larger amount lay dead on the floor. However, there were still a few whom remained, all of which turned their attention to the center of the room. Kenshin, of course, did the same, to see a traumatic sight that utterly enraged him.

⠀⠀"Down on your knees," Storm ordered, watching as King Pheles hesitantly went down to his knees, completely at the mercy of the assassin. Around him people fled, but Reikan was sure to keep them from leaving, at least not all alive.

⠀⠀"Daddy's dead, Kenshin. What'll you do?" Illusion smirked as Storm raised his sword. What was interesting was that he wasn't going to kill the king. He was going to transform his sword back to his scepter. That isn't what Kenshin took it for though.

⠀⠀"Who do you think you are!?" Kenshin cried out furiously, completely forgetting about the girl at hand. In fact, he abandoned their fight completely, and charged at Storm, aiming to thrust his own blade into him. "Don't you dare lay a hand on my father you filthy peasant!" He shouted as he quickly drew near, before hastily driving his blade forward at his teenaged foe, hoping to end him quickly for his father's sake.

⠀⠀Surprised, Illusion watched as the prince completely abandoned her battle and rushed at Storm, blade at the ready. "You'll lose," she said softly.

⠀⠀There were only a few survivors left. The officials had been taken care of, and now only three citizens were still standing. They begged not to be killed, that they'd give money or anything. "I don't want your money," Reikan spat coldly, "I want your blood to smear the ballroom floor." With one slice, all three dropped dead. The swordsman turned towards Storm, who was now the center of attention.

⠀⠀Storm looked up at the rushing prince. "I told you you'd die a horrible death, King Pheles," he whispered to the king. On cue, Kenshin thrust his sword at Storm, but the sorcerer grabbed the king by the back of the neck and shoved him in front of himself. The prince's blade went through his own father's. Storm shook his head disappointedly. Secretly, he felt terrible that this had just occurred. Still, deep down, Storm could see how he had it coming. "Killed by your own flesh and blood. A fitting death for a sadistic beast like you."
