Chapter II: First Day, First Impressions

I finally got to first period just in time. The bell had rung just as I had gotten to my seat. 'Whew that was close' I thought.

   I looked around the room and looked closely at my surroundings. I could see posters with cheesy puns about the English language all around the room. English. I though to myself. I speed walked toward the seat at the back of the classroom that was close to the window. Ahh. The protagonist seat.. I thought happily, as I started to sit down in my seat. The teacher walked into the classroom. "Welcome class to hel-". He paused for a second, making eye contract with me. He coughed. "Your English class I mean." He said. All the students kind of just looked at him weirdly. He smiled at the class in response.
"I am Mr. Kyle." He introduced himself to the class.
"I am your English teacher..." He continued. By the time he finished his long lecher, we only had five minutes left until the bell. I was probably the only one that was actually awake and listening.. I figured things would only get worse from here..

   The bell finally rang and students started to realize they had fallen asleep.
"Class is dismissed." Mr. Kyle said, yawning afterwards. "YES!" I yelled as I jumped out of my chair. I ran toward the door and.. WHAM! I had bumped into the door.. I for got it was closed. My face slid down the door dramatically. (Hanji's looking like Petra.. XD Sorry, too far?) The class started to laugh. I quickly stood up and actually opened the door.

   I walked down the hall and noticed a swarm of girls huddled around in the middle of the hallway. Curiously, I walked toward the swarm.
"AHH! LEVI-KUN~" I heard a voice say. I recognized that name.. AH! It was the guy who checked out the twilight book! I thought. "LEVI- SENPAI!" I yelled at the top of my lungs. Senpai? Where did that come from? I thought. Before I could think about anything else, the swarm of girls turned to look at me. I could hear the girls whispering constantly until a short girl with reddish hair popped out from the crowd.
"It's Petra!" A girl whispered to what seemed like her friend.
"Only I can call him senpai." The redhead said toward me.
"Wait." She paused.
"Are you a girl or a boy?" She questioned me.
"Uhh.. Girl." I answered confusedly. The short girl chuckled a little at my response.
"My names Petra and I can only call my precious Levi senpai." She said in a sweet voice.
"OH!" I yelled out loud, again..
"You must be one of those mean girls from the movies who are always heartbroken!" I said toward Petra.
"What?!" Petra yelled. Then suddenly, the swarm of girls headed toward the now crying Petra.
"You meanie!" A girl with childish look said toward me. Awkwardly, I slowly walked out of the situation.
"JUST YOU WAIT, MAN-GIRL!" Petra yelled at my back. I turned around and saw her mascara dripping from her eyes.
"THIS WONT BE THE LAST OF ME!" She yelled again. Not feeling any danger toward those words, I quickly walked toward the end of the hall, where my next class was.

   The next few periods where pretty boring since really all I cared about was science and experiments. But, then came lunch. RING! The bell for 6th period rang and kids ran out the door like titans. Everyone loves lunch, unless you're a geek with no friends.. AKA me.. I just really hope the library is open..
"HELL YEAH!" I shouted as I saw the open sign for the library. I happily walked in and say Mr. Yeager at his desk reading "How to control your four year old's anger toward dangerous creatures." Hm.. An interesting book. I thought.
"Welcome back Hanji." He said warmly.
"Ah, thanks!" I replied.
"Where's Eren?" I asked.
"At daycare, probably fighting with the horse face kid." He said kind of worryingly.
"Oh. Seems like he's a handful alright." I said.
"Ha. Yup." He answered.
Suddenly, the library doors opened and a tall man with intense eyebrows appeared in from of Mr. Yeager and I.
"Welcome Erwin." Mr. Yeager said.
The so called Erwin made eye contact with me. As he made eye contact with me, it seemed as if his face had gone red but, it could've been my imagination.
"It seems that Erwin has someone to talk to." Mr. Yeager said as if he were a narrator. I walked up to the slick haired man and held out my hand.
"I'm Hanji Zoë, nice to meet you!" I said smiling. Erwin looked up and shook my hand with a little smear of pink on his checks.
"I'm Erwin Smith, nice to meet you Hanji." He replied as his firm hand gripping mine.
"Likewise!" I replied back happily.
