Im escorted into another storage unit, at the back is a row of computers with workers sat behind. On the left wall are 8 TV screens, each showing one of my family members chained in a separate storage unit. Im forced to stand in front of the TVs and watch my family suffering. To the left of me is a camera on a stand.
"Each part of the code you give me, one hostage will be freed. I need two parts for each safe." He explains what i already knew.
"Okay."
"Give us the wrong code and the code resets and they will be killed." He smirks.
"I understand." I whisper.
"I want a digit for each hostage. Each safe
"Give us the first digit." He demands.
"S." I mumble.
I watch Black Widow on the first screen squirm in the chains.
"Skye, don't!" I hear my dad shout, my head turns to the screen showing him struggling and fighting. Black Widow's screen goes black.
"One down, seven to go. The next one." He demands, grinning up at me.
"3."
Hawkeye's screen goes black.
"Two down, six to go."
"4."
Pepper's screen goes black.
"Three down, five to go."
"D."
Captain America's screen goes black.
"Four down, three to go."
"Hold on." I mutter, trying to memorise the codes. They've reached the second safe.
"D." I remember.
Hulk's screen goes black.
"Five down, two to go." Jacob announces, leaning over one of the workers at the computer. "Next."
"9."
Zeke's screen goes black.
"Six Down, one to go. Next, I need two more digits."
"I don't know." I admit, biting my nails.
"What do you mean you don't know?" Jacob hisses, stepping in front of me.
"I don't know the last digits." I whisper.
"Your father is still a hostage." He points out.
"I don't know the last digits!" I repeat, my volume increasing.
"Im going to be nice, Im going to give you until tomorrow night to find the last two digits." Jacob says.
"Okay." I mumble.
"Drive her home." He demands, waving his arms in frustration.
The man that i met first appears at my side, taking my arm harshly and dragging me to the black landrover outside. He pushes me in and sits next to me, then he leans over and places a blindfold over my eyes.
