Monstercat High (RKD Revision)

Ch. 8- Hero

(RKD's POV)

I can't believe this; the first couple of weeks of Monstercat High and it's been a whole bunch of random events. There wasn't that much news about me before I attended here, but now, I'm something other than human (or I used to be human) and I'm bringing a new sub genre in Monstercat; it draws in more chaos every time I think of it.

The stress then lead on to when I bumped into another girl that's way different from Danyka; her voice was like an angel. "Sorry." I apologize to her.

"It's okay," she replied, but then she paused and faced towards me. "Wait. Do I know you?"

"I'm not sure." I answer back to her.

"Were you the one that everyone was talking about when you were in that stage," she's trying to identify who I am. "Someone by the name RKD?"

I froze there in silence. "Yep, that's me." I identify myself.

"Okay, I just want to make this clear," she goes on. "Is it true that your a cyborg?". Wait....how does she know?!? Was she snooping??

"Yes, that's true," I clarify. "How do you know about this?"

"Well, one of your roommates, Laszlo came to tell me."

"Dammit, Laszlo! It was supposed to be secret!!" I say under my breath.

"Oh, wait," I wait for her to turn around. "I didn't get your name."

"Oh," she remembers as she giggles a bit. "The name's Laura Brehm."

My heart stopped for a few seconds. "The Laura Brehm?" I ask.

"Yep" she answers as she signals me to come walk with her. "So, you're new here, everyone is talking about you, you're a hit on Youtube and Soundcloud, and now you confess that you're not human?"

I answer back with a nod as I blush in the cheeks. "Yeah," I answer back with all the urge to speak. "It was supposed to be a secret."

Laura laughed when I said that, which lead me to laugh; I can see in her eyes that she would want to know how I am who I am. I ask her if she would like to hear the story. "Yes, I would love to." she proclaimed feeling interested; at this point, I don't care if everyone knows or not, it's gonna spread like wildfire anyway.

As I was telling her how I an who I am now, her mouth dropped and her hands try to stop it from falling. When I was done talking about it, Laura hugged me a bit too hard because I'm still hurting, but I felt the love between us.

"Later, Hero!" Laura said to me as she gave a soft kiss on the cheek as she's walking away with gladness in her eyes. The one thing that I didn't notice was that everyone was around me giving me strange looks; some were giggling, some surprised, some smile and some were making hearts which could mean for me and Laura.

"Dammit.......now all of the school knows." I think to myself as I move to my dorm in embarrassment.
