Ch. 10- Our Arrival

(RX's POV)

I've been a fan of Monstercat for a while now, but the feeling I got when me and my younger brother, R3tro got the letter to attended the school is just beyond belief. I drove us to the school and parked next to the Pizza Hut that was near the building. The hype is real as me and R3tro walk closer to the doors.

(R3tro's POV)

I'm so excited to see my tutor (which is WRLD, btw) in person; I only got to hear his "Chase It" EP on the Podcast, but now I get to see everyone in person.

I can tell that RX is excited as well because his idols are here as well (Pegboard Nerds, Grabbitz, Muzzy and Noisestorm), but I don't think Excision or Skrillex (RX's tutors) is in the school. The person who welcomed us in has to be the principle (he just looks so principle-y [yes I know that's not a word XD]) as RX and I introduce ourselves.

(RX's POV)

I introduce myself and R3tro to Principle Monstercat as he gave us our schedules and our dorm numbers; looks like me and my brother share a room together (I gotta protect him in every way). As I look down more onto the schedule, it looks like we share a room with Grabbitz and the Nerds.

I feel so lucky to be in the school, but R3tro seems a bit off. It's probably because he is just shy of meeting artists like ourselves. I try my best to comfort him by saying that they are nice people and they would probably help us with our music.

(R3tro's POV)

"Don't worry," RX comforts me. "These artists can help us with our music. That's why we came to this school."

"Okay," I say feeling better. "Let's meet some people!"

We got to our dorm which seems quite small from the outside; I bet it's going to be huge when we go in.

(RX's POV)

When we're waiting for someone to let us in, we heard someone scream followed by some hysterical laughing afterwards; probably a prank someone pulled in the neighbouring dorm. R3tro and I see Grabbitz open the door and letting us in with happiness.

We had time to introduce ourselves and what we will be covering in our music.

(R3tro's POV)

"Hi," I introduce myself to the person with the extremely (and I mean EXTREMELY) long hair. "I'm R3tro."

"Nice to meet you," he replied. "I'm Grabbitz." Wait.....the person that I'm looking at right now is Grabbitz? SERIOUSLY?!? I turn to RX to help me understand Grabbitz more, but they were in the dorm having a normal conversation.

"We heard a scream coming from the other dorm," RX curiously asks Grabbitz. "Is everything alright?"

"Don't worry," he answers. "It's just Laszlo, WRLD, Fij and Hellberg having fun with their new dorm buddy."

"Do you happen to know the name of this new person?" I ask him.

"Yep. He goes by the name of RKD." Grabbitz answers back.

RKD.............why does that name sound familiar?
