Deep in the darkness of the jinchuuriki seal, lies the most powerful and hate-driven bijuu, The Kyuubi.

The fox himself was resting on its stomach, observing his jailer enjoying the sickening emotion of happiness. "Those two... They meddle with the dead one too many times. It's foolish to think emotions could easily control these pitiful ningen," the fox grumbled.

All nine of his tails were lazily swishing side to side. The bijuu is still trying regain half of his former powers. It was still to early to take control of the human. It was better to wait for him to develop his chakra coils further.

If the fox wanted to, he would've sighed at the absurdity of the whole situation. He loathed being trapped in the body of another Uzumaki.

"It is foolish but it what makes us human," a voice rang out. The Kyuubi opened his left eye to see the human that had sealed him in the weak ningen.

"Yondaime..." He growled. Minato had a calculating look on his face. "Our 'meddling' as you like to call it is giving my son reassurance that he was not alone," he glared. It was scary to see him in Hokage mode.

Kyuubi let a smirk. "He was never alone to begin with... Because I'm here. Waiting to control that brat of yours," he cackled. Minato stood silently, not fazed by the gigantic fox.

"My son is stronger than that. He has the Will of Fire. His will is strong enough to control your chakra," he calmly countered. The foxes cackling died down. He gave one look at the deceased Hokage before shutting his eyes.

"That philosophy is merely a bunch of nonsense. Now, begone Yondaime. This isn't over. I will take take over the brat when he learns that hatred is the only emotion he needs," he said in a final tone.

Minato shook his head but walked away. "Oh, it isn't. You will see that us humans are much more powerful than you think. It's only a matter of time," the fox scoffed.

When Minato was gone, the Kyuubi returned to observing Naruto. The boy was now putting on his green goggles. It was a hideous thing in the his eyes.

"Humph... Humans more powerful than I? What a weak belief," he said to himself.

He didn't want to say it to anyone, not even his fellow bijuu siblings. The one human he thought high of was The Rikudou Sennin. His father.

A man worthy than these pitiful waste of chakras. Even Madara couldn't hold a candle to the great sage.

'These humans aren't worth my thoughts. No one ever was worthy now or ever. How pathetic' he thought. He slowly drifted into a deep slumber with no intention to be interrupted.

(Many years later)

A worked out Shinobi sat at his desk, signing paperwork. His right hand was bandaged but it no longer bothered the man. In front of him was the former Hyuuga heiress, Uzumaki Hinata.

"Naruto-kun, can you pick up Boruto today? It would be be time for you to take a day off for once," her featureless eyes stared at her workaholic husband.

Naruto waved off her suggestion. "Sorry but I can't. The Mizukage is coming to the village next week and I have to make sure everything goes smoothly," his eyes never leaving the stack of papers.

Hinata was getting annoyed at her husband's ignorant behaviour. "Naruto-kun... You haven't seen your own children that often. Himawari might as well forget who her father is if he's not around. You might as well become a stranger to Boruto. If you don't see that your own family needs your attention, then go marry the paperwork for all I care," she ranted.

Naruto blinked at her with his mouth open but Hinata didn't care. She stormed out of the office angrily. The Nanadaime rubbed his face tiredly. 'This is not good...' This is one of the extremely few times he had angered his wife. He honestly loves her and his family but the village also needed his attention.
