You get a text from Zayn "I left early this morning. The promo times were changed. Idk what time I'll be home. I Love you Babe!" You think nothing of it as its all part of the job. You get ready for work and head out the door. As you drive to Starbucks for your morning beverage you see a familiar silhouette walking down the street.. But it couldn't be him, he's with Zayn doing the promos. As you get closer to the person you realize it IS him.... Harry one of your boyfriend's best mates. You are a bit confused but figured you'd talk to Zayn about it later.. After work you head home straight away not realizing that you haven't heard from Zayn all day.
That's definitely not like him. He usually calls or texts you multiple times a day. So you send him a quick text.
" Hey Malik! How are all the promos going? I miss you terribly and can't wait for you to come home. I love you Babe! <3" . You start dinner knowing the love of your life will be hungry when he gets home. As dinner cooks you take a quick shower and slip into something more comfortable. As the time passes you still haven't heard from Zayn. Eventually you fall asleep waiting for him. You're awoken at a late hour by Zayn slipping into bed. You pretend to be asleep and he just gives you a peck on the cheek and goes to sleep. You wake up in the morning and Zayn is still sound asleep. You get up, brush you teeth and make some fresh tea. Zayn comes into the kitchen already dressed and kisses you quickly. "Paul just called me. We have an unexpected interview. I'm sorry Love!" he says as he walks out the door. You think again it's all part of the job and you get ready for the day. This behavior with Zayn continues for a couple weeks and you start to get scared.
Your 3 year anniversary was coming up in 2 weeks and not only do you think that he forgot, you worry that he is cheating on you. All the signs point to him cheating. I promise." he replies. He runs to the bedroom to change and then again runs out the door. Now you're convinced he's cheating. You need advice..
"Who should I call? Of course my best friend Niall. Hello Niall I need your help." "Of course Love whatever you need." he says. "I need to talk to you as soon a you have a chance, it's very important. Can you come over after you finish with recording?" you ask. "Love we're not recording today, I'm on my way right now." he says and hangs up. Your best guy friend just confirmed it for you... Your boyfriend is cheating on you..
There's a knock at the door and your BFF Niall is standing there, before he even walks into your flat you burst into tears and tell him "Zayn's cheating on me!!" "What? Why do you think that? He loves you he would never." Niall returns. You tell Niall everything that's been going on the past few weeks and with his head in his hands says "I won't believe it.. He's my best mate and it's not like him." Niall comforts you for what seems like mere minutes but it's been 2 hours. "Don't give up on him just yet. If I know Zayn there's good reason for his behavior." says Niall as he kisses your forehead and walks out he door.

Now it's time to wait and see what happens. Zayn walks in after being gone half the day and sees everything you've done for him. His fingers go through his hair in disbelief and he looks at you a bit teary eyed. "It's our anniversary isn't it?" he says reluctantly. Your mouth drops and you let a tear slip down you cheek. "are you cheating on me?" you say without even blinking. You've tried so hard not to believe it. You've done all you could to let him know that you love him and miss him but he hasn't shown you anything. "What?!" he says. "you heard me. Are you cheating on me? You've been distant and not returning my calls or texts. You completely forgot our anniversary all together. It's not like you. You've acted like I don't belong in your life anymore!" you eventually yell. " you've gone crazy I'll tell you that right now. When would I have time to cheat on you? I am constantly working! I can't believe you just said that to me!! I need a break from this mess." he says as he storms out of the flat.
