Life with a rock start the third chapter.

Chapter 7

The start of November brought with it Carrie induction.

4th November I found myself in the waiting room with Carrie and Pete in London's women and children hospital.

"Carrie" the nurse said

"Come on Carrie. Positive, this time tomorrow we could be walking out of here with twins." I said helping Carrie up

"I bloody hope so." Carrie said laughing

12 hours later me, Carrie and Pete were all shattered me and Pete had been taking it in turns to sleep and sit with Carrie and talk to her to keep her going. It was my turn I had been asleep about an hour an a half when Pete woke me up.

"Rhi." Pete said

"Yeah im awake, I need tea." I said sitting up

"Ummmmm tea..." Carrie said smiling

"You can't have any." I said smiling

"Ouch ouch...." Carrie said with another contraction

"Ok??" Pete said

"Yeah, really want tea..." Carrie said

"Sorry Carrie." I said

"Not fun." Carrie said then the nurse came in

"How you feeling?" she asked

"Dumb question. Ouch ouch" Carrie said with another contraction

"Carrie." Pete and I said together

"Right let's have a look." The nurse said

"10 cm Carrie you can start pushing." The nurse said then with the push of some buttons about 4 people appeared in the room

"Come on Carrie." I said holding Carrie's hand

"Come on babe you can do it." Pete said

Then with a cry, baby 1 was born

"Baby girl." The nurse said holding baby 1 up

"Luna." Pete said

It was another 10 minutes before baby number 2 appeared.

"Another girl." The nurse said holding baby 2 up

"Lavender." Carrie said

"Carrie your such a harry potter freak." I said smiling at Carrie

"Yeah I know." Carrie said lying back

"We are going to take them up to special care." The nurse said

"Yeah ok, Rhianne will you go up with them and give the family a ring." Pete said

"Yeah that's fine." I said

I gave Tom a ring everyone was round his waiting for new.

"Hello there here." I said and cheers came from the other end of the phone

"How's Carrie." Tom asked

"Shattered, we all are. Im heading to special care with them now." I said

"Aww get some pictures will you." Tom said

"Yeah I will try." I said smiling to my self

"Nice work god mother." I heard Dougie shout

I just laughed

"Well I better go im sure that Pete will be over later or tomorrow im not sure when the twins will be home." I said

"Great work." Tom said

"Thanks Tom." I said

It was a good week before the twin's left special care and anther week before they could go home.

Everyone was round at Toms waiting for me, Carrie and Pete to come home.
We walked in and we were met with cheers.

The first thing I did was hug Dougie I hadn't seen him for about a 2 weeks me and Pete had been taking shift with Carrie and the twins, whenever I had been at the hospital Pete had been at home sleeping and when Pete had been at hospital I had been home sleeping. So I had not seen a lot of Dougie.

As the afternoon went on, Pete and I had sat down and not back up we had both fallen asleep.

"Leave them; they have been stars over the past 2 weeks." Carrie said

"Are you sure Carrie?" Tom said

"Yeah, twins are sleeping don't wake Rhianne and Pete up there is no need." Carrie said

"Im going to take Rhianne home." Dougie said

"Ok Dougie." Tom and Carrie said

"Rhianne babe, come on let's get home..." Dougie said waking me up

"ok." I said getting up

Getting into my own bed that night was amazing and it was gone 2 in the afternoon the next day before I got up. There was no one in the house apart from River but she was in her room playing on her guitar.

Carrie and Pete brought the twins came round about 4 ish.

"River, Carrie and Pete are here." I shouted up the stairs

She came running down stairs

"Luna, Lav." River said

"River doesn't shorten it." I said

"You shorten my name." she said picking Luna up

"That different you're going to be 17 in January." I said

"Rhi its fine." Carrie said

"Come on Carrie let's make a cup of tea." I said heading to the kitchen

"How was last night?" I asked making tea

"Not bad Luna woke up I feed her got 2 hours sleep then Lavender woke up I feed her then 2 hours later Luna woke up and that how it went all night." Carrie said

"Grand, so you got some sleep then." I said

"Yeah." Carrie said sitting on one of the stools
