"So this is your ex" Sam questions.

"Yeah, I just said that" I laugh a little. "You can hang out with us, if you'd like?"

"Yeah, I would like that" Sam says putting his arm over my shoulder and walking towards the couch in the living room.

"What's your name" Sam asks Nate.

"It's Nate"

"Cool" Sam says and I roll my eyes.

Sam seems to be uncomfortable since Nate is here. Nate's not going to try to do anything, especially after I told him how Sam was always there for me when the whole school started hating me.

Silence fills the whole living room. No one moves or says a word. It's really uncomfortable for me now. I see Nate glaring at Sam and Sam glaring at Nate. They just met and already giving each other the stink eye.

"So..." I break the silence. "Are we just going to sit here in silence or?"

"I'll just go, I have to help some of my friends move in today. Text you later?" Nate gets up and walks over to the door and I follow behind.

"Yeah, we need to catch up on some more things." I smile and open the door for Nate. He smiles and gives me a hug before he leaves.

I close the door after him and turn around to see Sammy sitting on the couch with his elbows on his knees, his head in his hand, and his foot tapping.

"What's wrong?" I ask walking over to Sam.

"The thought of you and your ex hanging out together alone? Is worrisome" he says rubbing his face.

"You don't have to be worried about me and Nate being alone together. I love you and only you. I would never ever cheat on you and you should know that." I sit next to him and rub his back to make him feel less concerned.

"I guess I should know that you wouldn't cheat on me" Sam breaths out.

"Now there's nothing to worry about" I smile at him. "Me and Nate are just friends."

"Just friends?" Sam turns his head to look at me.

"Just friends" I kiss him.

I finally updated. I was busy this entire week and hadn't had a chance to update this week until now. I actually wasn't planning on updating this book tonight, so that's why it's a short chapter. 14 days of updates is cancelled due my busyness, so sorry.
