Dan and Phil took me over to the hospital so I could see David. They found me in his flat, after I had cleaned up the mess that was left from David's suicide attempt. I broke down crying the minute I saw them. They got me in a group hug and cried together.
"We have to tell the police about David's mom. If we do, though, he has no where else to go." I explained. They both looked at me and nodded.
"Well, we may know someone who could adopt him," Dan said. "But we'll have to ask them first. You know, if David is the right one for them." I hugged Dan tighter, smiling like an idiot.
"Now, let's go to the hospital," Phil said chuckling just a bit. Dan and I nodded in agreement and walked out of the flat.

I looked at David, sleeping peacefully in the hospital bed. I had been holding his hand for the past ten minutes, waiting patiently for him to wake up. The way his hair fell over his face made him look cute, and I let out a little laugh."I love you," I whispered, kissing his hand lightly. Suddenly, he started to stir. I smiled a bit as he opened his eyes. "Hey, babe." I said as he looked at me.
"Hey, Amanda. Why are you here?" I was a little bit hurt that he thought I wouldn't have come, but I told him anyway.
"I'm here because I love you and care about you," I said, looking him in the eyes. I felt hot tears in my eyes. I can't believe I almost lost him. I tried to fight the tears, but finally, I lost and the tears rolled down my face.
"Oh, babe! I didn't mean to make you cry!" His eyes widened. He wiped the tears from my face. "I'm so sorry, Amanda. I couldn't take the abuse anymore," he looked down, embarrassed.
"It's okay, I know how you feel. I can't tell you how many suicide attempts I have weighing on me, but it's a lot." I said embarrassed. "I've experienced first hand what you're going through. You'll get a better life, I promise." Then Phil walked in.
"Hey, David. Nice to see you're awake. Do you mind if I steal my daughter from you for a bit?" He asked. David shook his head singling he didn't care. Phil took my hand and led me to the hall.
"I talked to Zoe and Alfie, they're on their way to meet David. I talked to the doctors, they're keep him here over night, but if they want to adopt him, they can finalize it tomorrow."
"Oh my god! Really?" I was excited. They didn't live far from Dan and Phil! We could go to school together!
"Yes. Now, go back to David, and tell him about his mom." That was going to be hard."David?" I asked as I walked in.
"Yes?" He had a cute curious look on his face.
"Don't be mad, okay?" I was getting nervous now. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest.
"Okay...?"
"I went to the police about your mom. They arrested her." I said, biting my lip, my bad nervous habit.
"Why would I be mad? I'm fucking happy!" He said with a big smile on his face. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
"I thought you would've been mad because you'd have to go to an orphanage." I said, looking down at the white hospital floor. It smelled like chemicals in the room.
"If I'm free from my mom and I still get to see you, I don't care about it." He said. "Come here." I walked over to him He pulled me down by my arm and kissed me on the lips. Suddenly, the door opened.
"Hi David. My name is Alfie, and this is my girlfriend Zoe. We want to adopt you."A/N: Guys, please stop asking me to update. I know you most likely get busy and I do too.
