I look out the passenger seat window and see a big blue building with bright words "Blu Bar". Well the owner must really like blue I thought to myself. "We're here!" Blake says eagerly.
"No, of course we aren't" I say sarcastically.
"You will learn to appreciate this one day Shay" Blake says getting out of the car and opening the passenger seat for me. What a gentleman he can be sometimes, too bad he is a stubborn prick.
We walk into the bar and approach the bouncer. We handed our fake ID'S to the guy, and he allowed us in.It was never this easy! Did I look older then I was now? I shake that thought out of my head not wanting to think of the aging process.
''Shay, you WILL get Liam, I promise. This is a good thing!'' Blake reassured me.
''Thanks...Blake. But how are you so sure Liam is here, at this specific bar?'' I question doubtfully.
''I have my reasons to expect. 'Blake shrugs and heads over to the bartender to get a drink. Not really sure where I was I could only follow him like a lost puppy. Not my vision of a perfect Saturday night. Just as we reach the bartender we hear an all too familiar British boy yell "Hey Shay, Blake over here!". Making a swift 360 degree turn I see an eager Damian waving his hands in the air and a not so eager Jess sitting grumpily in the seat next to him. My heart jumps at the prospect of familiar faces.
"Hey look its Damian and Jess! Haven't seen them in ages!" Blake says already slipping through the mass of hot bodies grinding on each other pulling me with him.
"Uhm Blake, psst Blake, we shouldn't they look like they are having a date, that would just be plain rude" I say nervously hoping he would comply, but of course Blake listens to no one. He stubbornly continues through the crowd of drunken idiots. As I see Damian and Jess hunched close together I over hear their conversation.
''Damian, why did you invite them here? We're on a date!'' Jess complained tugging on his arm viciously as if she was playing a game of tug of war.Damian looks at Jess his face filled with sorrow, and disgust?
She was already fuming with anger seeing as Damian failed to say a word in response.''They're our friends lovely , we can't just ignore them! Be nice Jess, Shay's your best friend!'' Damian says kindly in his sweet soothing voice that could put a baby to sleep in seconds.
In reply, Jess just storms out of the booth in a huff knocking over several bodies to get to the door. We reach the table and look at Damian questioningly
''Sorry guys. She can get out of control.''Damain apologized looking down sadly.
"Uhm yeah its ok, Im going to go find her, bye guys" I say in a rush and start to head the way Jess just left when I feel a warm hand pull gently on mine, touch so fragile and distinct. Turning around I see Damian holding on to my hand and looking at me in pure regret.
"No it's fine, by now you should know Jess does'nt like to be comforted" Damian says quickly. Yeah I did know that but I really just wanted to get out of this place and get into bed and drift off into wonderland. Well I guess I'm stuck now.
"So what's up man?" Blake says taken a seat in the dimly lit booth that once held a happy couple. He pats the seat beside him and I reluctantly take it.
"Nothing Bro, what were you guys up to? My Shay is not really the bar type eh?" Damian says tapping my chin playfully. A smile creeps onto my lips as he says it.
"No, I'm not but Blakey here forced me" I say frowning. I feel Blake shift uncomfortably next to me.
"ahah typical Blake."
"Well it's for a good cause, we are finding Shay a boy toy, not just any boy toy, Liam." Blake says pointing his hands to a boy with his back to us.
"Him" He says surely.
"ahah my little shay shays going to get a boyfriend? I'm in, So hows this going to work?" Damian says in the same eager tone as Blake. I have got to get more girl friends.
"Well what makes you want a girl more than ever?" Blake asks Damian challenging him.
"Easy, when shes with another man!" Damian says as if that was the easiest question in the world.
