"Don't worry hija, we'll find him," Ninong Seb said while patting my shoulders.

"Thank you Ninong," I said with a small smile.

"Nak?

"I want to be here when my son is fina —"

"You've been looking since the day before yesterday, Mackenzie. You barely eat and sleep. How can you look for him if you don't have any strength left?"

Napalingon ako sa likod and saw my husband-to-be. His hair is messed up due to the strong wind here in the beach, but, oh well, that did not lessen up his good looks.

Unfair.

Nakakunot-noo na siyang nakatingin sa'kin kaso mas kumunot-noo pa siya. "Why are you pouting?"

"H-Ha? Nothing," I answered and looked down as I felt him beside me.

I know he's looking at me but I just walked away with my shovel to dig up some sands again.

"Pa, Itay," Doc said. "I'll take it from here."

After ng ilang oras ulit, magpapalit muli.

But that doesn't apply to me.

Ever since that afternoon Doc Xian Rafael — the real Sean Krauss — told me the truth and proposed to me, I immediately left. I told them that I just came to the cemetery to visit my clan and rest for a bit before going to Batangas. I did not expect him to be there and the rest happened. They understood and I left.

Doc Xian though walked me to my car and told me that he would be there as soon as he can because he went back to the mansion to get some clothes for me. I told him to get some rest first before helping me out 'cause I knew that he was worn out.

Si Doc Xian naman ay tumutulong whenever he got the free time. Busy din kasi siya with a "very important thing," as Ninong had told me. I asked him about what Ninong was talking about and Doc said that it's the favor his dad had asked him to do.

The one Ninong trusted him before knowing that he was his son. I understand his situation and gave him my support.

And today is the third day of this operation. Third night, actually, of looking for my son that is buried under the sand and I still got nothing.

Oh, anak. Nasaan ka na ba?

"Mackenzie," he whispered as I felt his arms circled me from behind.

I sobbed. "I c-can't sit still, Xian. I've finally know where he is and I could feel that he is here somewhere. I just know that I'm close and I just can't rest now."
