I wake up to the sound of my alarm blaring. Just fan-freaking-tastic. It's to early for this, I don't want to go to school. My family just moved to Scranton PA from San Diego CA. My name is Marie by the way. I am 17 and I'm a senior in high school. My dream is to be a sound engineer.
One's I get up out of bed I look around to see my plain boring room. I have yet to unpack. Stacks and stacks of boxes in the comer of my room. Soon after I get up and dig through the box I have marked CLOTHES I find my favorite AFI tee shirt and some black skinny jeans. Once I find both I brush out my medium lenght brown hair and to my makeup. I don't really to much just my eye browns and some mascara. After I'm all ready I head out to my first day of school.
Scranton is so different from San Diego. But I like the change here no one knows my past and I plan to keep it that way. As I walk into the school I put in my earbuds and play Soul on Fire by HIM trying to block out the sounds of other and make my way into the office. I haven't been it public school in a long time before moving here I was in independent studies. I loved it that way but looks like things change.
The lady in the front office reconized me and handed me my schedule and I was on my way to my first period. Lets hope it goes by smoothly.
