Note to readers: I hope you don't mind me writing in third person now. I think it may be better suited for this story. I don't know- let's try it out shall we? If it's too confusing, I'll redo this and change it back to povs. Please comment on this style and story and vote! :D

Steve rocked on the swing slowly, back and forth as he allowed the wind to caress his face, blowing away every strand of his mahogany hair. Everything was changing. Autumn had arrived and everywhere he looked, signs of life had begun to disappear. Animals drifted into hibernation. Leaves died and fell. Even humans were nowhere to be found. Empty Autumn. Steve muffled his mouth as a stranger strode past his bench, blowing rings of smoke into the air. The carbon monoxide entwined around Steve's face before he covered he shielded his mouth.
"Yo yo yo! What's the matter homie?" said a deep voice from behind. "Trying to resist emphysema?". Aaron jumped over the bench and sat at an arms length away from Steve.
"I hate smokers" grumbled Steve. "Look at them". It is sad to see respectable adults outside, in suits desperately trying to cram in the last ounce nicotine before they go in for work.
"Well at least you were smart enough to quit smoking" implied Aaron.
"I can't believe I was dumb enough to give into peer pressure in the first place" Steve grimaced. Steve despised himself for being weak in that way. Everyday he longed to become strong, like Meredith. To do things his way, to not care about what people think of him, to just live without pressure.
"Steve" prompted Aaron checking his wrist. "It's 15.00pm. What are you waiting for? You gunna keep the bird stallin yo. Go!"
Steve's palms became sweaty as his finger reached up to ring Meredith's Aunt's doorbell. A middle age lady with a round figure opened the door. She her eyes darted around Steve suspiciously as she tried to recall weather they had met before.
"Hi" Steve cleared his throat. "I'm a friend of Meredith. Is she in today?". The lady open the door wider and nodded silently. Steve stepped up to the hallway as the wide lady gestured for him to come in. "So" said Steve as he traced the embroidery with his pinkie around the sofa, "How are you related to Meredith?" he asked. The lady looked up from the TV but didn't reply. "Are you her Aunt?" Steve tried. The lady nodded and smiled. Does she ever talk? "Is it fine if I go upstairs and get Meredith? You know, since you didn't call for her" pointed Steve. "I just figured that she may not know I'm here". Her Aunt nodded warily.
"Meredith" Steve knocked. "Meredith, you in there?". He stared at her door, waiting to see it pulled open.
"Come in" yelled Meredith. "Wait, not yet". Meredith was yet again cutting pictures of people to put inside the killer book. She rushed to gather up the pictures and quickly hid them in a pile under her giant teddy bear. "Come in" she yelled. Steve walked in twiddling his thumbs. He gulped from nerves.
"Meredith, I don't have long. I have to ask you something quickly though" Steve gushed. He gazed at Meredith and wandered how someone so beautiful and innocent could possibly be a suspect. She is perfect, sometimes irresistible that Steven often fought himself to keep his hands off her. Steve had to do it. It's important. He felt a buzz from sudden adrenaline as the courage built up and attempted his task. "Meredith" Steve Stammered. "Wi-will you be my girlfriend?". No response. "Hahah who am I kidding? Erm will you out with me? That is if you are free this Saturday. Which I hope you are because I am really nervous and bad at asking people out and Ohmygod you're not answering so you can forget everything I said unless you don't want to because you want to say yes which I hope you do even if you-"

whoever reads this will die
TerrorBasically what it says in the title! A secret book made by all the greatest scientists throughout history was discovered by a little, innocent Meredith. But has the book fallen in the right hands? Don't jugde a book by it's first page. BTW the story...
