Amanda smiled and waved at me, and I did the same to them. I couldn't even think of any words to say, I was so excited. "You're so pretty!" They said and laughed. I was shaking from excitement. After months of being friends, we were finally talking!
We spent hours and hours talking about random things, our life, and obviously, we also talked about memes. I am the meme queen, after all.
I also learned Amanda's favourite food, which is important information. My favourite food is pizza, and Amanda likes food. You're probably like "what?" But like, they like all food. Except gross food, not that.
Who likes gross food? Not Amanda.
Not me either.
Not anybody I guess.
Except for my mom.
My mom likes gross food.
She tries to make me eat it. But I don't because it's gross.
Do you like gross food?
If you do then you're probably my mom.
Okay, anyways.
It was getting late and I told Amanda I had to go. They told me they wanted to talk again soon, and I agreed. After that, we said our goodbyes and hung up. I smiled and closed my laptop, before walking over to my bed. I laid on my back and stared at the ceiling. Amanda called me pretty. Did they mean it? What if they were lying? Because I am not beautiful.
(A/N: Jean is depressed in this book, but she isn't in real life. So don't worry, it's just part of the fictional plot.)
My eyelids began to droop and I slowly drifted into a sleep.
