"hahahahaha" All Kelsey could do was laugh at me.
"Kelsey! This isn't funny!"
"It's a little funny!" she said still laughing.
"No it's not! I've never felt like this before, you know me, sex is usually a turn off!"
"You're right, I'm sorry for laughing. So who is this boy that got you all excited?" She said wiggling her eyebrows when she had finally calmed down.
"I don't know. I just know his name is Luke, and he's in my Spanish class."
"Wait, you're in Spanish 4 right?"
"Yea..."
"So that means you're in the class with juniors and seniors right?"
"Yea..." Where was she going with this?
"No way! It can't be!"
"What can't be?" Okay, now I'm really confused.
"You're talking about Luke Parker aren't you!?"
"I don't know, I told you I only got a first name." I replied nonchalantly.
"Describe him this instant!"
"Well he has these mesmerizing greenish blue eyes that you just want to get lost in, and he has this jet black hair that comes down above his eyes in this messy yet sexy hairdo and..."
"AH! NO WAY! You got turned on by Luke Parker!" Kelsey squealed interrupting my daydream of him.
"Oh...so what's with all the excitement? It's just a boy..." I was starting to get a little freaked out, Kelsey never gets this...energetic about a boy. Sure she gushes, but she never squeals...
"Oh, nothing really. I mean Luke is only THE HOTTEST BOY IN THIS SCHOOL NOT TO MENTION HE'S A SENIOR!"
"OUCH! I think I just went deaf from all your screaming!"
"Oh quit being such a drama queen! Hottie with a swimmer's body was flirting with you!"
"I'm sorry, I didn't catch that, I seemed to have lost my hearing."
"Shut up! Let's go." Kelsey grabbed my arm and we walked back out into the hallway. "So what class do you have next my little freshman best friend?"
"Well my ever so awesome sophomore best friend, I just so happen to have an off period. What about you?"
"ME TOO!" she screamed again.
"Okay, well if I wasn't deaf before, that probably did the trick."
"Oh my goodness, I'm sorry it's just an exciting day, the fact that Luke flirted with you means you are most definitely in the popular crowd now." Kelsey said as we began walking towards the Quad at our school. We found a table with shade from a nearby tree and sat down.
After all the shouting Kelsey's been doing today I decided I would tease her a little. "What?"
"I said you're most def in the popular crowd now."
"What?" I was doing a great job at keeping a straight face.
"You. Are. In. The. Popular. Crowd."
"What?" I said sticking out my ear towards her head.
"Oh my goodness, I said you're going to be popular, are you deaf!"
"I'm sorry I'm deaf now and it's all your fault. Now I'll never be able to hear another word you say."
