Chapter 8: Best friends?

Ashton POV

"Hey man?" Michael waved his hand in front of my face. "You hear what I said?"

I didn't realize I had zoned out.

"Yeah man I heard you." I said

"Well?" Michael have me a look like he was expecting an answer.

"I think you should be free to love anybody you want." I replied my face expressionless.

"That's bull....isn't it!" Michael whisper yelled because we were still in the restaurant.

"No Mich-" I started.

"Never mind Ashton! Michael yelled, forgetting we were still in the restaurant. " I have been nothing but supportive of your relationship with Luke and now that I've realized I'm gay you judge me??" Michael started to tear up.

"Micheal its not like that at all its just-" I tried to continue.

"No Ashton that's exactly what it is isn't it?" Michael cried, now completely in tears. "I have feelings for another man than all of a sudden I'm a freak?! At least I didn't kiss Calum in front of the whole school!" And with that, Micheal stormed out of the restaurant.

"Wait Micheal!" I got up to go after him.

Michael kept walking and flipped me off, not once looking back at me.
