I was so tired. My life was a life of failed plans. Then I remembered Dekoboko-no-ishi. Were we still at war? I found mom and asked. She looked at her feet. "Yes..... but right now there's been no physical contact.... just threats...so far you still have an arranged marriage" she muttered. I knew this was coming so why did it still feel like i'd been stabbed in the leg. I keep my face emotionless. Walking out I gazed into the sky. Why Irene? I know its wrong but could you set the other village on fire or something? I prayed in my head. Then I walked into the forest. I wasn't supposed to kill, or anything like that. It was a self promise; a self promise I was about to break. I frowned as I walked through the forest. I had an arguement in my head with myself. {Italiacs- Good thought Underlined- Bad thought} Don't do it, its wrong! Its nessesary! You've never met her! She could be a good person She could be a demon in the wrong realm Turn around, go home, let the village resolve it peacefully THIS IS THE ONLY WAY!!! No...... stop if you want sanity Sanity left a long time ago! I was so torn. I put a shawl around my mouth so I won't be recognized. Then I saw it. Dekoboko-no-ishi, Cold stone.

I stealthly ran to the lords home. I climbed the walls and jumped silently into a window. Looking around I knew I was in the right room. A girl about my age was sleeping in her bed. She turned half-awake. Then her eyes got wide, she was gonna scream. I ran up and covered her mouth. "If you want to live, don't marry the prince of phoenix drop! Do everything within your power not to! You understand?" I harshly whispered. She nodded, fear in her eyes. "Tell no one I was here or that will cost you your life too.. Rin!" I whispered before letting go and jumping out the window.

When I hit the ground I ran into the forest. When I knew I was a safe distance I pulled off the shawl. Then I ran home, home to Phoenix Drop. It was late when I got home. 1am maybe. I ran to my house and fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.
