Chapter 3: Pizza!

Aang's stomach suddenly and viciously growled making him clutch at his belly. "Maybe step 2 should be that I get something to eat." he muttered. Grabbing his wallet he walked out the door and shut it behind him, not bothering to lock it he'd only be gone a minute after all.

Aang pressed the lobby button on the elevator and as the doors shut he thought about what he was going to get to eat. 'Maybe noodles? or how about a salad?' Aang being a vegetarian didn't even bother with things like fried chicken or burgers. the door opened and he stepped out of the elevator only to almost run into a pizza delivery guy. "Pizza!" Aang shouted out loud happy to have thought of something that wasn't to boring as far as food went pizza had to defiantly be his favorite.

Aang raced out the door a new hunger now over sweeping his earlier hunger. knowing what you were going to eat made ones appetite change and for Aang the thought of sinking his teeth into some nice cheesy pizza made him all the more hungry. He quickly dashed across the street and ran straight into... a girl. Well woman is more like it he thought giving her a second glance before stretching out his hand to help her up.

"I am so sorry" he blushed deeply looking around the pizza shop and then back at the pizza sauce covered grumpy looking young woman he had just knocked over. he bent down and started scraping up the pizza that was wrecked all over the floor. "Uhh... how about i get you a new one?" he offered.

"Sure" She sighed "Just make it fast my brother will eat the cat if i don't get some food in him."

"yeah ok..." Aang shrugged "My name is Aang... I'm sorry i ran into you like that... I was actually on my way here to get some grub myself..." Ordering the pizza he realized he only had enough money in his wallet for the one and he sighed. Turning to the woman he asked "What's your name?"

"Katara." She said simply a small smile on her face. "Anyway you know what they say about chance meetings. They never happen when you think they will." She looked over at Aang who was clutching his growling stomach and chuckled the pizza sauce dripping down her sweater completely forgotten. "Hey you want to join me and my brother for supper?"

Aang looked up surprised. "well I..."

"I mean I know its sudden and we don't know each other but I just get a good vibe coming off of you. Besides from the looks of things I just stole your supper." Katara commented

Aang blushed "Well I guess that's fair I stole yours first." he shot her a charming grin. The pizza was done at that moment and Aang went over and grabbed it. "Well... Lead me to your house I guess.." He grinned. Katara just smiled and walked away and Aang took of after her.
