Chapter 4: Where?

"Zuko will you fetch me some tea leaves from that vendor over there?"

"Damn it Uncle" Zuko snapped at Iroh "we are on a mission not vacation."

"Ah but the is no sense in wasting such a brilliant and beautiful day."Iroh said looking around the bustling city "There are sites to be seen, tea that can be drank..." He stopped when he looked over a his nephew who was busy grilling a flower vendor about anyone strange around the parts. Sighing Iroh went over and pulled Zuko away from the now frightened lady.

"Now Zuko perhaps scaring the locals is not the best way to find out what you are wanting to know." Iroh turned to the flower vendor "I apologize for my nephew's harshness. What he was just trying to find out was if you have seen anything strange lately." He flashed a very cute old man grin that for some reason always seemed so innocent that no one really thought to much about what was really happened and they would just tell him almost anything he wanted to know.

"Well it depends on what you mean by strange..." the vendor told him laughing at his goofy grin. "only thing that's change around here is that we had a young fellow move in across from the pizza place."

Zuko interrupted her gruffly "we aren't looking for some one young. We are wanting information on some on about my uncles age."

"Now now Zuko, who said we were looking for anyone?" Iroh said scolding his young nephew. turning back to the vendor he bowed. "thank you so much for helping us."

Zuko snorted at his uncle's actions. 'Silly old man' he thought. Iroh looked over at Zuko "I heard that team Avatar recently had a leader change, perhaps this young fella that nice vendor spoke of is the man we are looking for." Zuko raised an eyebrow actually slightly impressed at his uncle. "Come let us find this building across from the pizza place."

After searching for not to long they found the building they were looking for. Zuko rushed in and slammed his fist on the counter demanding "has anyone new moved in here recently?!" Iroh comes over to the counter and lightly pushes Zuko out of the way.

"What my nephew meant was has a young man about his age moved in here recently?" he leaned closer to the guy behind the counter "you see we are searching for his step brother. rather troublesome this one he calms down when his brother is near him though do not worry."

The guy nodded in an understanding voice he says "yeah new kid live in room 307"

"Thank you" Iroh nodded to the gentleman "we shall go see if he is home." he lead Zuko up the stairs.

Zuko rushed over to the door and knocked loudly "open up!" he yell when he didn't get an answer he got ready to kick down the door. Iroh walked right in front of him and wiggled the doornob and he turned grinning to Zuko.

"Sometimes," he said "you just have to help yourself." And he pushed the unlocked door wide open.
