Chapter 5: Friendly

"Sokka" Katara called for her brother as she opened the door and gestured for Aang to come in. "We have a visitor."

Sokka came rushing into the room and simply snatched the pizza from Aang. "Oh thank God I was starving." he looked back at the new guy his sister had brought. "oh hi." he said his mouth stuffed with pizza. 

Aang held up his hand in a hello and he smiled widely "hiya" he said blushing lightly.

"Sokka this is Aang, Aang this is my brother... Sokka." Katara looked at Sokka with disgust as he crammed his mouth full of yet anther piece of pizza.

"Anyway..." Aang said "I met your sister by splashing that pizza all over her." Aang commented pointing to the Pizza sauce still all over the front of Katara's blouse. Katara looked down at her shirt and sighed.

"I forgot about that." She said simply "I'll be back I've got to change. Play nice you two." Katara said walking towards her room. poking her head back around the corner she scolded Sokka "Save me some pizza and share with Aang." and with that she disappeared.

Sokka sighed and grabbed yet another piece of pizza. "Why did she get cheese?" he grumbled

"Actually that was me." Aang admitted. "See I'm a vegetarian..." Aang explained.

Sokka spit out his bite of pizza "You mean you don't eat..." He leaned in close to Aang's face "MEAT?!?!" He yelled in almost full blown panic.

"Uh.. well... no but..."

Sokka shook his head "and to think I was being friendly with you."

Aang looked confused "that was friendly?" he said "i'd hate to see you not friendly."

Sokka just shrugged "A guy's gotta eat meat." He looked Aang over "tell you what I'll take you out for dinner and you try meat and i'll give you one of the wrestling tickets I got."

Aang was now confused "that's just giving me stuff..." He said.

"Well is it more Friendly?" Sokka asked

"... Yeah i mean I guess so..." Aang said.

"Good!" Sokka said and then he laughed "Man I love confusing these poor souls Katara drags in." 

Aang suddenly understood. "oh no.. I'm not interested in your sister." He said blushing deeply.

Sokka just laughed "then how did she trap you into coming here?"

"Actually when i spilled the pizza on her i bought a new one and sadly ran out of money so she offered to share this one." Aang admitted biting into his second piece of pizza.

"Ah I see" Sokka rolled his eyes "well the offer still stands for the meat and the ticket either way."

Aang looked surprised "really?"

"Yeah sure!" Sokka said "I'm always in the mood for some meat."

"actually you know i'm ok without the meat. But if you don't mind i'll take you up on that wrestling ticket." Aang said he always enjoyed watching people beat on each other as long as it was all in fun and games.

"Cool well it's tomorrow so i'll see you then." Sokka said getting up to go find the ticket for him.

Aang nodded "ok cool sounds like fun. it's a date!"

"What's a date?" Katara asked coming over and grabbing the last piece of pizza from the box.

"I invited your new friend to come watch the wrestling match with us tomorrow"Sokka explained 

"oh that thing" Katara shrugged "ok cool"

Aang smiled "well it was nice meeting you guys. shall we meet up here and go to the match together tomorrow at 6?"

Sokka nodded while Katara just shrugged.

"Ok cool! Anyway i'll get going i'll see you guys tomorrow!" Aang said finally glad for some friends. normally while on missions he wasn't in one place for to long but this mission had him based here most of the time which would mean he'd get to see these guys alot. As Katara and Sokka waved Aang walked out the door a huge smile spread across his face.
